Chapter 22You Used Me

Lesly drank a whole glass of Brandy in one go. The alcohol burned down Lesly’s throat. For a moment, she felt like vomiting, but she held it back. "Alright, I’ve finished it," Lesly said in a hoarse voice as she put the glass in front of Gavin. "Can we talk now?" Gavin narrowed his eyes slightly and looked at Lesly’s face. Her face had turned slightly red from the alcohol. He remembered that this woman’s drinking tolerance used to be very bad. She could only drink two glasses of red wine. "Tell me, what did you do in the past six years?" Lesly held the table for support as the alcohol began to work. She was a little drunk, and her self-control had weakened. She became rude. "What I have done has nothing to do with you. Gavin, we are divorced. You have no right to ask about my private affairs." Gavin’s eyes darkened. Lesly’s impatient and sharp appearance made him very uncomfortable. He preferred Lesly from six years ago, who was obedient and quiet. "Lesly, if you continue to have such an attitude, then you can forget about seeing your son." Lesly closed her eyes. The alcohol made her dizzier. She could hardly stand straight now. "You keep threatening me with my child. Gavin, I haven’t seen you for six years. Why are you getting more and more despicable?" Lesly’s words became sharper. "Do you have any other tricks other than threatening me with my child?" Gavin frowned as his voice became cold. "Well then, let’s not talk about the child. Let’s talk about Millie’s car accident." Lesly immediately sobered up slightly once she heard this. She held the table tightly. "Her car accident has nothing to do with me. I have evidence." Gavin’s face was cold. "Where?" The alcohol had completely stopped Lesly’s ability to think. She felt her feet weaken as her tone became soft. "It’s with... a friend. I haven’t got it yet. I was too busy today." Lesly answered honestly as her body swayed. She couldn’t stand still. Gavin stared at Lesly, and his lips suddenly curled up. "If you don’t show me the evidence, then I can’t believe you. Millie’s car accident had something to do with you." "No!" Lesly said angrily. She opened her bright almond-shaped eyes. "Don’t frame me. I won’t do such a despicable thing." "Really?" Gavin stood up. He walked towards Lesly, bent over and almost touched the tip of Lesly’s nose. "But six years ago, you lied to me and drugged me. Aren’t you despicable?" After drinking, Lesly’s willpower became weak. After being reprimanded by Gavin, she felt a bit guilty. She lowered her eyelashes, turned her face away, and whispered, "It’s not a bad thing to sleep with you." "Not a bad thing?" Gavin could not help but pinch Lesly’s pale chin. He lifted her face, which was stained red from the alcohol, "That night, you used me. Don’t you think that I’m on the losing end?" Lesly’s face turned redder, and she opened her eyes in anger, saying, "That’s nothing. If you can’t let it go, I’ll sleep with you again, so that we can call it even." Gavin smiled and said, "Okay, take off your clothes now." "Fine. I’ll take it off." Lesly pushed Gavin away and began to unbutton her shirt. The button was made like a pearl, round and slippery. Lesly couldn’t hold it properly. Thus, she fiddled with the button for a long time. "I can’t take it off." Lesly’s eyes were red as she looked at Gavin helplessly. "What should I do? I can’t take it off." Gavin’s eyes became darker. He said in a hoarse voice, "It’s alright. I’ll do it." He took a step forward, put one arm on the table, and held Lesly in his arms. With his other hand, he grabbed Lesly’s shirt that was tucked in her skirt, pulled it out, and unbuttoned the buttons. Lesly leaned against the table obediently and looked up at Gavin. The alcohol blurred her ability to think. She felt like she had returned back to six years ago. Back when she and Gavin were still married. "Honey..." Lesly said in a drunk voice, "Did you come back from work?" Gavin paused for a moment as his eyes were burning. Lesly continued, "Have you eaten yet? I’m going to... oh!" She couldn’t finish the rest of her words as Gavin kissed her.
