Chapter 27: Be My Girlfriend

It was already midnight when Lesly arrived at Harry’s house. "The children are asleep," Harry said softly. He leaned to one side to let Lesly in. "You must be hungry after getting off work so late. Many people were angry with the DR’s management and wanted an explanation. Lesly looked down. The lights fell on the side of her face which made her look elegant and beautiful. She also felt unusually calm. Harry came out with soup and saw Lesly’s face. "What’s wrong?" Harry put the soup in front of Lesly. "What trouble did you come across?" Lesly put away her phone and smiled. "Nothing. It’s just work-related." "Alright then." Harry did not ask more questions. He sat opposite Lesly and said softly, "You can stay here during this time.
