Chapter 37: Most Hated Person
Lesly had never thought that Arnav would act like that when they first met.
Arnav seemed to hate her.
Lesly froze as Arnav ignored her and went straight to the dining room.
The servants followed Arnav. Lesly was the only one left still standing by the stairs.
She looked at Arnav’s back as he left, her eyes filled with disappointment.
"I’ve told you before." Gavin walked over. "Arnav won’t like you."
Lesly bit her lips and did not say a word. Her eyes were slightly red.
Gavin lowered his eyes and looked at her for a while. He pursed his lips and turned to leave.
"I really didn’t want to abandon him." Lesly said in a hoarse voice, "All these years, I missed him so much. In order to see him, I even signed an unfair contract with you. I..."
Lesly closed her eyes and held back her tears.
"I really, really love him."
Gavin opened his mouth. He wanted to comfort her, but the words that came out were sharp.
"Then do your job as a maid and take good care of him. Maybe he will talk to you when he is in a good mood one day."
Lesly’s expression darkened. She turned her face away and did not speak.
Gavin also walked to the dining room, and the father and son had breakfast together.
The butler took Lesly to change her clothes. Gavin did not tell the butler her identity. The butler treated her like other maids in the house and gave Lesly a cleaning task.
Lesly wanted to see her son. So, she volunteered to mop the floor of the computer room where Arnav often stayed at.
She took the bucket upstairs and entered the computer room.
The room was very spacious. The room was dark and depressing as the curtains were shut and the lights were off. The room was just like the room Lucca usually stayed in.
Lesly did not open the curtains. She put down the bucket and sorted out the wires of the four computers that leaned against the wall.
When she was abroad, Lucca also had four computers. All of Lucca’s computer wires were personally sorted by Lesly. She had experience.
As she was halfway through, Arnav pushed the door opened and walked in.
"Who allowed you to come in?" Arnav’s face was cold as his gaze swept across Lesly’s movements. He said angrily, "You actually dare to touch my computer?"
Lesly held the wire in her hand and said, "I thought these wires were very messy, so I wanted to..."
"Who told you to touch my things? Even my father can’t touch my computer!" Arnav’s face contorted to anger. He ran over and snatched back those wires. "Get out! I hate you. I hate you very much! Go away!"
"Arnav, you..."
"Don’t call me that. You’re just a maid. You’re not qualified to call my name." Perhaps out of anger, Arnav’s eyes turned red. "I hate everything about you. I don’t want to see you, and I don’t want to talk to you!"
He pointed to the door with his little hand and said, "Get out right now."
Lesly lowered her eyes as her eyes were full of sadness.
"Okay, I’ll leave now." She took the bucket, walked to the door, and stopped. "Young Master, no matter what, I will stand by the door of your room. If you have any orders, call me at any time."
Arnav looked at the computer with a child’s voice and said angrily, "I told you not to talk to me."
"Alright." Lesly closed the door.
As soon as she left, Arnav’s tensed shoulders loosened.
He grabbed the computer wires, squatted down slowly, and shrank into a ball.
In truth, he already knew the identity of the new maid.
His father had locked up a woman named Lesly in the small building that day when someone had snuck into the house. Lesly was his mother who had abandoned him.
Arnav had talked to her from the other side of the door.
After that, Arnav remembered Lesly’s voice clearly.
The woman who came had the same voice as Lesly.
Therefore, she was not an ordinary maid at all. She was Lesly, Arnav’s biological mother. She was also the person Arnav hated person in this world.
