Chapter 46 Who Do You Think You Are?
At the gate of Gavin’s house, Lesly called Gavin.
The phone call was immediately declined.
Lesly was stunned for a moment. Could it be that he had something to do at night, so he couldn’t answer the phone?
She decided to send a text, "Open the gate. I am at your house."
Gavin replied in a second, with a very short word, "No."
Lesly felt a sense of haughtiness and dissatisfaction through his reply.
She called him again, but he did not answer. She called him again and again.
After three times, Lesly sent a text message: "What are you doing? Open the gate quickly. I’m already here."
This time, Gavin quickly called back and said in a cold tone, "Lesly, I’ll tell you two things. Firstly, I’m not acting like a woman. I just don’t want to hear you nor see your disgusting face. Secondly, you have violated our agreement. From today until next month, you can no longer enter the house."
He spoke as if he was doing an official business.
"So, I won’t let you in, understood?"
Lesly felt funny that the situation was funny. She said, "I understand, I didn’t say that I must go in. I just came to send things to Arnav. You can send anyone to the door, and I will pass it to them."
Gavin did not reply and directly hung up the phone.
Lesly was so angry that she wanted to curse his ancestors. She sent a text message and said, "Gavin, you’re acting like an angry woman!"
"Gavin, open the door. Hurry up, or I’ll cut off the electricity of your house and climb over the wall to come in like last time!"
Lesly proceeded to spam Gavin with messages, but he did not reply.
A few minutes later, Lesly suddenly saw Gavin’s approaching figure in the distance.
She put away her phone and looked at Gavin’s cold face. She could not help but mock him. "Didn’t you say you didn’t want to see my face? Why did you come over yourself?"
Gavin said expressionless, "I just don’t want to be harassed by you anymore."
Lesly was too lazy to talk to him. She handed him the thermos and said, "I made something for Arnav. Please pass it to him for me."
Gavin looked down for a few seconds, then reached out and took it. "Okay, you can go."
After that, he turned around and left.
"Wait a minute." Lesly stopped him. "How is Arnav today? Does he still stay in the computer room and not go out?"
Gavin turned around and his eyes were cold. "If you really care about him, you should have come today."
"Lulu’s fever has not subsided yet. I had no choice..."
"Lesly." Gavin interrupted her, his voice getting colder and colder. "If you really can’t take care of both children, then I advise you to give up Arvav. You give him hope, yet you leave him behind again. It is very unfair towards him."
"I won’t abandon him this time!" Lesly’s eyes were firm. "Absolutely not."
Gavin stared at her and suddenly narrowed his eyes. "Are you still planning to take him away from me?"
He immediately guessed Lesly’s purpose, and Lesly did not intend to hide it. "So what? I am his mother. I have the right..."
"He hates you. Lesly, where does your confidence come from? Did you think he’ll be willing to leave with a woman who had abandoned him?" Gavin turned around and took two steps forward, approaching Lesly.
Every word he spoke was cold, ruthless, and realistic.
"How long have you taken care of him since he was born? It was only a day, and he only had a meal once. Do you think he will be willing to leave with you like this? Who do you think you are? I am his father. I have accompanied and taken care of him for six years. I will never abandon him, and he will never leave me, so..."
Gavin bent down slightly and stared into Lesly’s eyes.
"I advise you to give up this idea as soon as possible so that this won’t end sadly for you."
