I immediately open the door and got out as soon as we reached in my apartment. I didn’t bid any goodbyes or looked at him. I was furious. I saved his fucking life and all I ever received was his fucking egotistical outburst. This is all I get for fixing my life. I sighed deeply. "Avery?" I looked at where the voice came from. "Henry? You’re not asleep yet?" I asked Nancy’s husband. He came home a couple of days ago from the hospital. He seemed better now. "Nancy was waiting for you. I told her that I’d wait for you instead. She’s sleeping now." Henry said. "She always wait for me." I chuckled. "She’s just worried. She treats you like her own daughter." He smiled. He noticed my outfit and raised his eyebrows. "What are you wearing? You went to a party?" I came to him and hug him. He put his arms around me. "I’m tired, Henry. My boss is an asshole. I hate him." I miss this warm feeling. Keelan, my younger brother was the one I always cuddle. He’s was so warm and soft... and childish. I looked at him. "Does his personal assistant come here and bother you again?" He shook his head. "Not anymore. They came here once when I was just released from the hospital. I talked to them. I told them that I’ll only sell this place when both of us are gone." I released myself to his hold. "I don’t think he’s ever gonna stop though. He seems adamant on having this land." He chuckled. "You’re right. But I told them that we’re old and frail. We only want to live in what we have left. Show him that he can’t have everything." We laughed. "Avery, oh my." Nancy suddenly appeared. "Have you eaten? Come, come. I prepared food for you." She beckoned me. I smiled ear to ear when she invited me. I walked towards her and hugged her. These guys are my salvation. "I know, I know. I’m coming." I put the phone down and speed up a little bit. That stupid asshole asked me to grab a file from his apartment. He went home to his family’s mansion last night. So I’m here running his errands. God, I hate that guy so much. As soon as I reached the building, I quickly got out of the car and walked towards the elevator. "Wait, wait, wait." Ashton stops the elevator door from closing. I frowned. He hurriedly got inside. He smiled at me childishly. I pressed the floor where Stefano’s office is. "I really don’t know why your Stefano’s friend. You’re a bit childish while he’s like your dad. Grumpy and annoying." I said to him. He laughed. "Correction. It’s best friend." His laugh suddenly died. "What’s wrong? I might have known you just last week but I’m sure you don’t give that crap of a face." Cause I thought people getting married can’t get enough of their excitement." "It’s arranged." "Oh." I didn’t know what to say. It was sad to hear that but I don’t know how to react let alone say in these circumstances. I mean in this day and age, people don’t do that anymore. Though I’m just a driver, I get most of his errands outside. I come up here instead of an employee or Carson going down to meet me.
