Chapter 40

I gasped as I felt his soft lips to mine. The gesture made him slid his tongue and deepened the kiss more. My hand absentmindedly reached to his chest. I was confused on whatever it wants to do- push him or pull him even more towards me. But it did the latter anyway. I clenched his shirt and pulled him towards me, kiss him with equal fervor. I reciprocated every inch of his kiss. Every passion. He scooted closer and leaned towards me even more. If we’re probably at some bedroom and not in a hospital room, I’m sure he would hover above me and I would have let him be. My attraction to him is crazy. It need not no words and just him kissing me, I’d melt right away. I’d lost control and forget all my resolve. He bit my lower lip as he cupped my face with his now warm hand. He continued to kiss me, fought our tongue for dominance. I swear the slight pain from my abdomen has completely vanished. His hand travelled from my cheek to my neck to my chest and finally to my ******. As he attempted to squeeze it, the door bursted open. The two of us pulled away from each other as fast as a lightning. My eyes widened when I saw Stefano fell from the bed, his butt landed on the floor. I didn’t know if I should laugh or not but I just saw the cold and hard Stefano just fell from the bed embarrassingly. A syllable of laughter escaped from my mouth but I stopped immediately when he glared at me. His face was flushed from embarrassment. Never thought I’d live to see the day to find this man awfully cute. "What the hell are you two doing?" My brother asked with obvious disdain in his voice and a huge scowl on his face. The amusement that I felt drained down the system. I cleared my throat as Keelan approached us. He was bringing my milkshake as I requested. He was glaring at Stefano who was now getting up from the floor. "We were just... he was just... we were just... talking?" Stefano looked at me as he arched a brow. I shrugged. "I don’t like him." Keelan said coldly and squarely. He was still glaring intensely at Stefano. The two of us turned to him shocked. We froze. Stefano’s eyes widened, never expecting him to blurt out what he feels right away. "I don’t like you for my sister." He repeated again with disdain. The two stood squarely at each other. Even with Keelan’s muscles from all the workout he had, Stefano was still bulkier and Keelan just looked like an innocent young boy- which he really is. Stefano was huge and tall with ripped muscles hidden in his clothes while Keelan just reached to his chin. He still looked childish and boyish but with just how he faced Stefano, it was like they were equal. "Keelan..." I called pleadingly. "Could you leave us for a moment? I just need to talk to him." Stefano’s face was unreadable like he didn’t know what to feel with my brother’s sudden announcement. He was always disliked by many people. He wouldn’t really care. He was used to it but I don’t think the blow just now made him still indifferent. How he looked just now gave it away. He then walked towards the table and placed my milkshake. He turned towards me. "If you’re just going to eat each other-" "Okay. Okay. Just go now." I cut him off as he starts to embarrass us again. There was a faint sly smile on his lips that I caught. I immediately noticed what he was actually doing. He leaned to me as if he was giving me a kiss on the cheek but in reality he was whispering something to me. "Your boyfriend is funny." He then pulled away and walked towards the door. "I’ll be back in an hour." He then opened the door and left leaving me in agape. Since when did that kid become so mischievous? "You alright?" Although I really didn’t know why I asked. It seemed like a proper thing to say right now. He just nodded. He then walked towards me and went back to sitting beside me. "I think I changed my mind." He said through vague words. My brows knitted together in confusion. "On what?" I asked with pure curiosity and ignorance. "It might be hard with your brother though. He... he hates me." There was hesitance and embarrassment in his voice. I smiled. "He does, doesn’t he?" He glared at me. "That’s not helpful at all." I chuckled. "I want to kiss you again right now."
