Episode 55
Stefano
I woke up at a terrible heat my body was feeling. It was strange to feel this way during mornings of fall season. My eyes travelled down to Avery snuggled in my chest. My arms hugged her waist tightly as our legs were entangled.
She groaned when she noticed me stirred. I nuzzled my nose to her neck. She really smelled sweet, something that would lull me to sleep. My eyes snapped open feeling her temperature.
"God, Avery! You’re burning up!" She groaned again. I unwrapped my arms from her and got up. Seeing we were still both *****, I grabbed some sweatpants and a t-shirt for her. I changed her and let her wore my boxers. All the while I was changing her, she didn’t protest or help me. I could tell she was very ill. She didn’t look good and she was pale.
I was careful changing her. It was difficult but I managed. It would have been easy if her more than enough ample breasts and luscious curves weren’t distracting me. She was the only woman who could pull that off with me. My eyes always travel down there even though I tried hard not to. She’s sexy and beautiful. What even made her even more attractive was the fact that she was nonchalant about it.
I went looking for my phone almost forgetting where I put it. My pants was lying on the floor. I picked it up and searched for my phone. When I found it, I immediately called my friend. It rang a few times till he picked it up.
"Stef-"
"Can you come here? I need your help."
"Well, hello to you too. You sure didn’t beat around the bush." Though he answered sarcastically, there was a sound of amusement in his voice. "Alright, you’re lucky I’m free right now. I’ll be there."
"In my apartment."
"Got it, bro. I’ll be there in a few."
"Thanks." I hung up. I checked Avery for a moment and went downstairs. Our clothes were scattered on the floor messily. I immediately picked it up and threw them in the laundry. While waiting for Dominique’s arrival, I whipped up some breakfast and some soup for Avery whenever she gets up.
The doorbell rang the moment I was done with everything. I opened the door and was greeted by a smiling Dom. His smile widened when he finished surveying me.
"You looked like you’ve been thoroughly fucked." I rolled my eyes at his comment. I just forgot to wear a shirt. Well he’s right though... literally.
He got inside as I let him pass.
"So what’s the problem?" I nodded my head upstairs. His eyebrow raised questioningly. I went upstairs and he followed me. We got inside my room. I went to the closet first and changed.
"Holy shit."
"Shut up, dork. As you can see, she’s sleeping." I scolded him.
"Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Isn’t this the girl the guys are talking about?" I narrowed my eyes at him. "You should really shut up and just checked on her." I nodded towards Avery’s sleeping form.
"I was right. You were thoroughly fucked... literally." He said amused at the same time amazed that his joke was actually true. I glared at him.
"Oh, right. Sorry." Dom walked towards her. He prepared his things from his bag." What happened to her? You must have fucked her so hard to be like this. Man, years of pent up sex made you... " He trailed off when I glared at him as soon as he looked at me. He cleared his throat and continued setting up.
"Just do your god damn job, Dom. You’re not a doctor for nothing."
"Alright, alright. Take a chill pill, will you? I know you’re worried for her. Well, if you didn’t fucked-" I slapped the back of his head. I hope that hit would fix his retarded brain. This idiot of a friend is testing my patience.
"Ow! You know you’re gonna have a word with the others after this." He exclaimed.
I scoffed. "They’ll be surprised I haven’t killed you yet."
"Oh, wow. 39 degrees. Your girl’s gotta high fever, Stef." Dom said as his voice now filled with concern. "I’ll jut down some medicines for her. For now, I can give you a few of it here but make sure to buy the others." After writing it down, he gave me a couple of medicines from his bag.
"Shouldn’t I be bringing her to the hospital?"
He shook his head. "No need. She’ll be fine. With huge amount of tender, love and care from you of course." He winked at me. I just glared at him. He sighed. "No, seriously. It’s not really life threatening. The atmosphere inside the hospitals won’t really help her feel better. It’s really depressing there." He shuddered.
Though Dom is a doctor, he never really liked the way the atmosphere of the hospital feels.
After he’s done, we went downstairs. I offered him a coffee and we talked. Dominique was one of my closest friends but it was rare for us to hang out because of he’s job. He travels a lot and is busier than us. Sometimes this guy doesn’t sleep especially when he’s operating or having a surgery with a patient. As annoying as he is, I’m glad we have the time to sit and talk. He was so busy that he couldn’t even attend Ashton’s wedding. It’s a miracle he has time now.
"I thought they were lying when they said that you have a girl- not to mention she’s hot and beautiful." He snorts. "I mean you. You’re allergic to women. You see them like some kind of disease. But dude, your girl is one fine-" He stopped talking when he noticed me scowling. He then drank his coffee to divert his attention.
"So... Is she really your girlfriend or just... you know." He asked carefully. He’s probably too scared to have another strike.
"Maybe." I answered vaguely. I smirked inwardly. This idiot doesn’t need to know the truth. He has a bad reputation for closing his mouth. If I know any better, if I’d tell him, I’m probably going to be in the front cover of the magazine tomorrow.
He groaned. "You’re so secretive you know that. But you don’t let other people sleep in your bed, Stef. Not to mention a woman." He smirked knowingly. I frowned. So there’s no way I could hide that fact. He laughed. "We should really hang out with the others sometimes. We hadn’t done this since a long time."
"The last time we hung out was Ashton’s wedding. You were the only one who’s not there."
"Yeah, busy being a doctor here." He sighed.
"Stefano?"
Our attention snapped swiftly where the soft voice came from. Avery stood a few feet behind Dominic. Her wavy brown hair was in a mess in such a sexy way. The white t-shirt I let her wore reached her mid thigh covering the boxers underneath. Oh god her ample breasts could be seen through the shirt. The way its beautiful form could be seen. My sight snapped towards my most annoying friend who is already busy ogling my girl. My woman.
As I decided to come to her, Dom stood from the chair from the island and approached her, beating me. "Hello there, pretty lady. Doctor Dominique at your service." He bowed down like a true stupid gentleman he is and took her hand from her side. He kissed it. He fucking kiss it. I growled as I speedwalk towards them. Avery held a curious look. She was still in a daze obvious that she had just woke up and was looking for me.
Dom stiffened. Oh you better be, you little shit. He quickly let go of Avery and stood straight as if he could sense me near him. I was so ready to relocate his brain again.
Avery shifted her eyes to me. I was beside her immediately. "I’m not feeling so good." My arms wrapped around her and let her lean on my chest. Dom interrupted now on his doctor mode.
"I gave Stef your prescription. You should eat so you could drink your meds. You should stay in bed and rest." Avery looked at him and murmured thanks. Dom winked at me when I looked at him.
What is he up to now?
"You should also take some vitamins so you won’t be sick so easily. It’s good for your stamina and body too. You will need it, girl. This guy is insatiable now that his years of celibacy is over."
"You piece of shit!"
Dominiue quickly grabbed his bag and ran to the door. "Til next time, Ranallo!" He said through laughs. He then closed the door.
I just stood there mad. He was lucky I couldn’t strangle him to death. Avery was still leaning on my chest. My anger died down when Avery laughed. She looked at me with her sickly eyes.
"I know what you think of him. He’s worse than Ashton, isn’t he?" She chuckled.
"Trust me. Ashton makes a lot more sense than him." She gave a small laugh. I then lead her towards the kitchen. I let her sat on the chair of the kitchen island.
"I prepared a chicken soup for you." I went to get it and set the table for her.
"Did you make this?" She asked as if it was impossible for me to cook. She stared at the bowl of soup. The fever made her cheeks tint in pink. She looks sick but it made her look cute. The tough exterior long gone.
"You asked as if it’s unbelievable for me to cook." She takes a spoonful of the soup and slowly eat it. She then looked at me. "I hope it’s not only soup you’re good at." I smirked inwardly at her comment.
"You should’ve stayed in bed and rest. You’re not fit to walk around like this."
"I was looking for you. I thought you’ve gone AWOL again." She said while continuing to eat her soup. I recalled leaving her the first night we had together. I was confused and I panicked about my feelings and I ended up leaving her. Stupid, I know.
I stared at her trying to study her if she’s still mad about what happened. She noticed my look and raised her brows. "What? Don’t worry I’m too sick to think about anything. I was just looking for you. I’m pretty sure you didn’t leave me. You two bickering drilled my head." She joked with a grin.
"What did he mean by years of celibacy? Don’t tell me you’re actually a ******." She teased with a cheshire grin.
"Tell me, Avery. Did I do you like a ******?" She shut up and inclined her head. Her face scarlet red. I have never seen anyone so flushed in my life. Not until this girl. The empty bowl seemed to be more interesting to her. I smirked.
That’s right. You should know better. Better yet your moans and screams echoing in this apartment should know any better.
I stood up and scooped her in my arms. She was surprised at my gesture. I could tell she was still in a daze from her fever. "Let’s get you to bed and drink your medicine." She nodded. She then leaned her head in the crook of my neck.
