Why did you...?!" Esther couldn’t complete her sentence since she confronted with a PLACK sound on her face. She felt five fingers on her cheek which made a stinging pain. Due to the force Esther stumbled down. Before she could gain her concious back again a hard slap fell on her face making the tip of Esther’s lip bleed. She raised her head and saw Gia stretching her hands only to pull her hair. Esther cried in agony. She cried out loud but no one came for her rescue and no teachers would dare to say anything to them. Esther cried hard and asked in between her sobs..." Wh-why are yo-you doing this to m-me???" This time Helen pulled her hair and said " you took what belongs to me and I hate those who take it away!!..So I should show my gratitude like this right!" Helen asked faking an innocent face and said again..." My parents taught me to show our gratitude to everyone!!!" Helen clenched her teeth and pulled her hair once again and Esther let out a deep cry. "Noo..pl-please..." Esther joined her hands and begged to release her. They then pushed her to the wall making her fall and they turned and walked away. "Why..lo-lord...??Wh-why me?" Esther whispered powerlessly. She then placed her palm on the wall and helped herself to stand. She looked her face on the mirror. She silently shedded her tears. She washed her face and packed her bag. Everyone around her were staring and murmuring making Esther feel weird. She now knew that her face became swollen and that’s the reason they were looking at her strangely. She covered her face with her hands and ran to Delight. When she went there Hanley was explaining something to Alessandra. When she saw Esther coming covering her face , she scoffed at her. She had already decided to mess with her after Hanley’s departure, the thing she have to do is to wait patiently for the time to arrive. Hanley saw her face and asked about it but she didn’t said anything and kept quiet. He treated her face and then told her to help making the dishes rather than delivering them to the table. Her long day finished after she tucked Jonathan inside the quilt . Linda didn’t forget to pester her and teased her while looking at her lightly swollen cheeks. She poked it making her wince in pain. She then spend no time there. It was a long day for her. She walked back home. But this news didn’t got unheard by Zackary. His men didn’t forget to inform him about her bad condition. Seeing him having no emotions Edwin became irritated. "Tell me Zackary...why do you always oppose her? why do you believe that she is acting, tell me one reason so that I get less irritated."
