   Episode-192 Can’t you give up on me?.... **   Serene’s POV:**      I am just looking at the pair of earrings he gave me… he kept it all along. Alexis what is up with you…   Why didn’t you quit when we were not together and you are still not accepting? I don’t want to marry or love someone who had hands in wrong things and dad don’t want me to love you…  I can’t go against dad… dad is always right … and why would my dad want wrong for me… Alexis maybe we are not made for each other….. and by forcing this engagement you proved dad right…     The door open and hide the ear-ring’s behind me. I saw my sister Skyla… she don’t know about my and Alexis engagement. She said, “sisi… can I get the new blush from *** brand…”   She sat beside me. I said, “why?... you ask for new makeup every week…” Skyla pouted, she said, “mom.. said no… so sisi.. please.. give me some money.. I need to buy it..”   I said, “no… if mom says something it’s right… and you don’t need tons of makeup…” I got a call, it’s Alexis… I was looking at phone when Skyla answered it… she said, “who?”    She said, “yea.. I am Skyla… who are you Mr.” sh*t no!!!.. she can’t no… I tried to get the phone but she moved away… this girl!     Skyla said, “Alex… oh god!... but why do you call my sisi..”    She then smiled, “you are really going to be my brother-in-law… wow…. My friends will be jealous..”    I said, “Skyla… give me the phone..”   Skyla moved away and said, “why can’t I tell anyone?... then I need something… you have to tell sisi to give me money to buy blush from *** brand.. will you bro-in-law…” I saw her smile and said, “thank you… yea I will tell sisi..”   She ended the call and I was about to pinch her ear, she said, “no… now bro-in-law will send me my makeup… he said he wants to see you in 5 minutes.. his car is outside the door..” I looked at the phone and sigh… this is mess…   I was confused, should I go or not… after 10 minutes I sneaked out of the house… I noticed his car, I went in it… and just avoided looking at Alexis… I felt him tucking my hairs behind my ear, he said, “are you good? how is college?... are you feeling good?”  I turned to him confused.. why is he asking….    Alexis said as he smiled, “I wanted to know are you doing well or not…. But you are the best person to ask about this…”   I whispered, “why you told my sister that you are her brother-in-law?” he looked at me and then said, “I am telling her the truth… she is a lot like Cherry…. I ordered her makeup, they will send it to your home…”   I said, “we don’t need it… stop trying be nice…. that won’t change anything….” he went silent… he then looked at me and then said, “I wasn’t doing this because I want create image or something.…… I felt I should be doing this…” he grabbed my arm pulling me close to him.. my face was just few centimeters away from him. His eyes went to my lips and then my eyes.. he said, “I love you…. more than myself…. don’t speak to me like that… something hurts… don’t do this Serene..” I felt him pressing his lips on mine and then pulling away after the light addictive sensation.   Alexis said, “let’s go… won’t you spend 1 hour with your finance..” he started driving, he didn’t wait to get my answer… I am just looking down… what should I do?... I should be trusting my dad… not him…. but my heart is betraying…..      After 15 minutes… he passed me ice-cream and said, “I like these small date…”    I just kept eating the ice-cream ignoring him… he was trying to talk but I don’t know what I should do….he sigh, then asked, “sweetheart… what I did that you are behaving like I am a complete stranger?”   I turned to him and asked, “Can’t you give up on me?.... can’t you go to someone else?... why me? when my dad and I are insulting you?... as per your status anyone will be yours..” he banged his hand on the glass, he looked at me in anger, he grabbed my face to make me look in his angry eyes, he said, “I dare you to say that again…. There is no one for me other than you…. do you understand! I am ready handle your any demand but not this…. don’t push me away… I am never leaving you.” he is hurt… he is angry because he can’t keep it in…      He let my face go and then looked away, he said, “sorry… I shouldn’t have…” he caressed my face and said, “does it hurt, Serene?” it hurts but… somewhere else… in my heart…. Alexis… I can’t go against dad…. I never did, even if I love you, I can’t go against my father, I know whatever dad says is right.…. can I now… if I want to… what am I thinking… is this even right… but Alexis loves me…. I love him too…
