Episode- 297

  Episode- 297         Logan’s POV:      My assistant Miss. Potter said, “Sir… media is here… it’s almost time for the conference….” My assistant is in her 40s…. she use to work for my father and now she does for me, she is really good at her work, I don’t want to lose an employ as her for some stupid reasons as her age…. She is head of the team, there are other two assistant who work under her… I asked wearing my jacket, “Is everyone ready?”  Miss. Potter said, “Yes…. Everyone is here…. Princess is also waiting in the waiting room…”  I smirked and said, “can’t believe she is on time…” Miss. Potter said, “I heard she is always good with work unless she dislikes something…” I fixed my hairs and said, “I am well aware.. and it’s no problem to us, today everything related to this contract ends.”     I walked to the conference area, I saw Evelyn walking there with her assistant….. for a moment I forgot why I was here. My throat went dry… she looks so unreal… but what’s eye catching is thats her attitude… She walked to me and said, “Let’s go in.... we need to finish this soon…” I know. We went in front of reporters, they did clapped and greeted Princess Evelyn.   I did the announcement, after that the media started asking questions to me. One of them asked, “Sir… how will you describe the work with Her highness?”  I said, “Her highness, is really good at her work… every shot was done with perfection….. what more can I ask?” Other reporter asked, “Your highness, you are known by many names….. Why would you hide your identity for years?” I looked at Evelyn, she said, “To protect myself from personal question like this…” she is savage. Someone asked again, “You are King Arthurs only female child… what role you have in this position in the family?” she looked at them straight… and smirked. She said, “What your  role your family?...”  The man said, “That’s not the answer Princess… or are you a show piece…” I want to punch this man right now… how can be so rude for no reason?  Evelyn smirked and said, “I have the same role a daughter has in her family…. Wait shallow people like you won’t understand this… what a daughter means to a family? Am I right?” she mocked the person but her eyes were ice cold… the report gulped. I was somehow angry on this person, who dares to question her like this?  The reporter said, “People question your ability is because of your family….. do Royals manipulate to make you on the top?”  I said to Miss. Potter, “Get him out…”   I do not want to create a scene here, But I heard Evelyn as she pulled the mic to herself, “I do not think anyone can manipulate the people who love me… can Royals do that?...”  She warned, “Next time if I find you talking something like this about me or my family then… then…” She smirked.. She got up and said, “I am done with this drama have a nice day…” She left away from the hall. I went to follow her, she clearly messed up her image… I don’t want her to be on front page and people telling bad about her. yes.. maybe she was right with her words but Media can manipulate anything. I said, “Stop..” she turned to me and looked at me with that face, like she doesn’t care what mess she created just now. I can’t believe how she took all of this so casually. I sigh and said, “You  shouldn’t have said that… just change to next question, I was removing the person from the conference anyways… this can ruin your image, Princess…” She smiled and said, “Do you think this will go out of this conference room? … you are funny…”   Evelyn said, “My Dad protects me well….. this conversation never happened…” she just walked away humming a song. How did I forget she was Edwin Arthur Grays’s daughter? no one can damage her….. I scoffed, such a egoistic family……. it’s better to stay away from them….
