Episode 16

   Episode- 16       Ruth finally said in range, “Edwin broke up with me… he canceled our engagement.”  I just said, “What?” did I hear anything wrong. He cancelled engagement with Ruth… that’s not possible he really loves her…. they are together for six years and just before wedding why did he broke up with her.     I said again, “Are you here to joke?,,, or are you creating a new trap for me,,,,, you were going to get married with him and he even bought dresses for you the other day from this store…. Do you think I will believe you?”     She was crying and said, “He really broke up with me….. he left me….”   She was crying especially when no one is around that mean she is really crying,,, but I will not believe her. I said, “Then why are you here….. you should got to dad or Edwin to talk about this…… I don’t understand why did he broke up with you in the first place.”    She said while sobbing, “He said that he don’t like me anymore….”      I was really angry at Edwin, how can he say that to a girl, with whom he was in 6 year relationship… he is a jerk.    I asked again, “You are pregnant or something… did he break up because of it?”    She shakes her head and said, “He never slept with me,,,, he just kissed me that’s it.”    I am really confused, it is really weird they know each other for 6 years….. maybe he has other women. I asked, “Then why are you here?”   She looked at me this time she had anger for me, she said, “Are you seducing him?,,,, I know you liked him… did you hook up with him?”    I was really angry this time,,, what does she think of me? I said while banging my hand on the table, “Ruth,,, think before what are you saying…. I am not into that jerk anymore….. he just care for himself, I will never love a person like him and for your information,,, I have a boyfriend now… he is not rich but he cares for me…..”    She looked at me and cried, she said, “Then why?... why did he left me?” if I didn’t knew her real side then I would have been pitying her,,,, but she is my sister at last I can’t see her like this.    I sigh and said, “Ruth, as a sister I am telling you this… find someone who will love you,,,, don’t fall for good looks and bank balance. Edwin Grey is nothing but a heartless man… entire country knows it….. you don’t have anything to do then you can leave,,,,” I walked out of the room and went to look after the store.    Ruth left after few minutes. Rest of the day I spent thinking about what Ruth said but I was also worried about what will I say when Ron asks me about my scar. It was already time to close the store I locked it and as I turned to the road I was Ron standing there, maybe he was waiting for me.
