Episode 27

**     Episode- 27                                         ** **  Alisha POV:**    A sob escaped as I was unable to control it, Tina might have heard it, she asked, “Alisa, are you ok?.... why are you crying?”  I cried as I said, “Ron… Ron got into an accident,,,,*sobs*” the next thing Tina said that she will come to the hospital… I just told her the name of the hospital as I was unable to remember any other thing…    After like 30 minutes, Tina came and she hugged me immediately… she sat beside holding my hand… I was sitting in the hospital like for like 1 hour already and it felt like eternity…. I wanted to see him so bad.    My eyes were fixed on the OT door, after like more 30 minutes the doctor came,,, I rushed to him but because of my ankle I was about to fall but Tina supported me… I saw Edwin was already standing there… I took few more steps and asked the doctor, “How is he?”   The Doctor had a sad face and turned to Edwin, Doctor said, “Mr. Edwin,,, he is in critical condition,,, I assume he won’t make it,,, but he is conscious though” As soon as the doctor said that I felt a huge lump in my throat… Tina was still holding me or I would have been on ground..    While Edwin was about the hit doctor but the man beside him stopped him. the Doctor was surely scared, he said while stuttering, “M-Mr. Edwin, I will try my best… the patient wants to talk to you.”      Edwin looked at me for a moment and walked inside the room…. I was waiting to meet Ron,,, I don’t believe what Doctor said, Ron promised that he will be with me forever and never leave me alone… he will keep his promise.    After few minutes the nurse called me inside,,, I walked with my one leg still giving me pain but it was nothing in front of my urge to see Ron. I walked in and I noticed Edwin was still there standing on the edge of the bed. But I don’t care, I walked slowly to Ron who  was lying on the hospital bed and his body was covered with bandages and his head was also bandaged,,, the machines were attached to his body,,, IV was also connected… every piece of my heart was hurting to see him like this.    I stood near him and his eyes were slightly opened, I could see he was in pain,,, tear escaped from my eyes, I  was about touch his forehead… but Ron held my hand and place it on his chest… his grip was weak and so was his smile… more tears escaped…   Ron said with trembling voice, “Alisa……. Don’t cry.. see this is my girl friend, bro… isn’t she pretty?” I wanted to hug him but I was scared I will hurt him more.    I wiped my tears and said, “How did you get in this trouble?... (about to cry) get well soon,,, so you can fulfill your dreams.” He let a small chuckle and looked at me.    He said, “You are my… dream…. I love you.” I cried even more and said, “love you more.”    Ron turned his head to Edwin and said, “He is my… only family…. Brother, please take care of her……”    I took his hand in mine and said, “You are going to take care of me… *sob* just like I am going to take care of you…. you will be fine… I know.”    He just said, “I am sorry…. For every pain… I will cause you… my love.” I observed Ron was not talking any more, he wasn’t even moving not even a little… his eyes were closed… he looked lifeless… I yelled for the doctor and Edwin did the same.    The next second the doctor came and inspected Ron, the Doctor said, “I am sorry.. he is no more.” I stood in panic and grabbed the doctors collar and said, “Check again… (cries) please… he is alive,,, he promised me (sobs) that he will never leave.”    I felt everything spinning around me,,, soon everything turned dark and darker every moment.
