“you will see how painful death”

   Episode-  35 “you will see how painful death”   Alisa’s POV:                                                                                             I asked the driver to stop the car few meters away from the store, he was not ready but after asking for a while, he agreed. I went to the store and opened it,,, I am early today like always, went to my desk and pushed my hairs back of my ears,,, how can my life change so much in just one day… I have to get permission to do everything from right now… I noticed the ring that Edwin put in my finger,,, I removed it after pulling it out for a while… I kept it in my bag and all I wanted to do is escape from this new reality of life.    No, I can’t be like this,,, I have to be strong remember what grandpa said,,, yes I am going to be strong… I tied my hairs in pony and stared to work on my usual basis…. After like 15 minutes Tina and other 2 people who are my small staff came… I discussed rest of the work and assigned them work… my store is my life now because 3 different people depend on it for their earning.        It was already 8:30 PM, I closed the store and waited till all of my staff including Tina left, the car sent by Edwin was still standing there… I made sure everyone was gone till they completely disappear,,, I stood there was like 5 more minutes making myself ready to return to Edwin’s place.   I got in the car and I was surprise to see Edwin was also there doing something on his phone… I didn’t except him to be here. I kept silent but after few minutes, Edwin asked, “why were you standing out of your store for so long even after closing it?”    I was unable find anything to say,,, should I tell him that I don’t want to be seen in entering a car, when I don’t have one.   He pulled my hand and asked with more demanding aura, I said, “My friend and staff would be surprised to see me entering a car,,, so I waited till they left.”   He pulled me even close, he asked, “Why?”    I really want to kill him right now. I said, “You told me not to tell anyone about marriage.” He looked satisfied with my answer, he kept nodding his head like he was understanding my situation… but I was wrong.   His hand slid to my ring finger and he asked, “That’s why you are not wearing the wedding ring?.... you are so thoughtful.” If I saw I am not scared then I am a big liar. This car made my every way to escape vanish.    He grabbed my neck and pushed me back on the seat, he was applying pressure on my neck, and I feeling pain.. am I going to die? Like this?... my eyes were filled with tears.    He let me go after few seconds,,,  I was coughing vigorously… I noticed the driver was really scared…. And so was I.    Edwin said, “You know this is the easiest death you will get if you offend me….. but I don’t prefer this method… so wear the ring until the day you die as my wife… (grabs Alisa’s face) or you will see how painful death can be….. ok?”    He let me go and said, “Wear it… NOW!” I nodded and searched for the ring in my bag… I found it after few minutes of struggle… I wear it and sat there praying that he won’t do anything to me.
