‘I have to stay strong’

  Episode- 44 ‘I have to stay strong’   Alisa’s POV:      My head really hurt,,, I struggle to open my eyes and looked at my surrounding but my vision was blur… after few more second finally I was able to see things clear… I was on bed, in the same clothes as yesterday and a i.v. was connected to my hand…. I saw a maid entering… the maid grasped and then smiled.   Now I started remembering yesterday, the humiliation, the insult and the violence… I can’t help but my eyes got wet. The maid looked at my head and said, “Don’t worry, Miss Alisa. The doctor said you would be fine in few days… and I was really worried about you, you are in bed since yesterday….” I am sleeping from yesterday.    Then I searched for my phone and saw it was already noon…. And I have more than dozen’s of Tina’s missed calls and messages… I quickly messaged her that I will be in store soon as I can…  The maid was still looking at me, I asked, “Is there anything else?”   The maid shakes her head and said, “No… I will bring you food and the medicines… the doctor asked me to give it to you.” I nodded. I walked to the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror, I saw a bandage on forehead, it was not huge but it was there,,, to tell me that yesterday was not a nightmare but a reality….    I got ready and walked back to the room, the maid was arranging my food, I thanked her… then I heard her, “Miss if you don’t mind can I say something?”   I nodded, then she said, “Miss you should not make Sir angry he is really dangerous… I think you should stay away from him, he has no mercy…. Yesterday I really felt bad for you,,, I don’t want anyone get hurt.” I was surprised but I nodded… it was hard to imagine there is a nice person in devils castle… the girl said again, “You can call me, if you need anything… my name is May.”   I smiled and said, “Thanks.” After I finished the food, I took my phone and purse, I already dialed a cab… I not going in his car. The cab was already at the gate and I just ignore the car driver and walked into the cab. I know I am inviting trouble but right now my self-respect stood in between… I am not talking anything from a man who almost killed me yesterday… never.    I reached the store and as soon as I got in Tina walked to me with anger and was yelling at me, “You! I was worried sick,,,, how can you not answer call and messages… I was going to police… wait how did you get hurt… ohh god look at your head.”  She was in panic…    I know the next question would be how did I get it, before that happens  I said, “I am fine,,, it’s just I got bumped into the wall…. I am just fine.” It took her few fat minutes to believe my story but she soon did…    I immersed myself into work, few hours later I saw a familiar figure in front of the counter… and I was not happy about it… Ruth was glaring at me…. I know this is going to be a mess.    I walked to her and said, “If you have something to say… let’s go out.”  Ruth gave me a smirk and she said, “You destroyed my life and now you are scared that I will destroy your image in this store.”    She pushed me down and she pushed a rack and made the dresses on it floor… I got up before she does anything to my store… I pulled her out of the store and pushed her so she was out of the store.    I know she is not going to stop. She screamed, “you b***h.”    I moved close to her and said so only she could hear it, “Ruth… you want me to divorce him … then I beg you make him agree… do it for me, I want get out of his hell…. But I won’t tolerate you disturbing my life.”    Ruth was surprised, she asked, “You don’t want him?.... then he is doing this by his own will.”    I said, “Ask him to let me go… I don’t F**k about him…. I just want my freedom back…” I went inside the store, leaving Ruth standing there in shock… Tina hugged me and I tried to stay strong… I have to stay strong.
