‘Friends party’

    Episode- 96 ‘Friends party’     Alisa’s POV:    I spent the rest of the day on the mansion, practically doing nothing the half off the day, then I called Tina about some stuff regarding business. I also called grandpa and told him to take care of himself and not interfere anymore for his safety.    It’s already evening, I made myself a cup of tea enjoying it all by myself, I walked to the main hall, I was Edwin was sitting on it with his friend, I remember him, he is Lee. When did he get home? Lee passed a smirk, I rolled my eyes in response. I hate this guy.      Lee asked, “Ed, you should teach your wife some manners?” Edwin then noticed me, but the more important was fixing mouth of this stupid Lee.    I replied with a fake smile, “How about you learn some driving?... I remember it being terrible.” I saw Edwin smirk….. I don’t know why is he smirking but I hate it. I was about to turn and walk to my room but I heard Lee screaming, “Hey!.. you.. you…. sh*t… I can’t hit a women.”      I smirk on his stupid words. Lee sigh and said, “She spoiled my mood……. I am going, I am not coming here till she is here.” I rolled my eyes as Lee left, and it was indeed a silence filled the room. .. in between me and Edwin… I found him busy with his phone, maybe I should go to my room.     As I was walking to my room, I thought about Edwin, he didn’t talk to me at all…. What I am excepting?... he didn’t changed overnight, he just helped me a little… he is still the same and I have to maintain my distance from him…    I sat on the bed sipping my tea but I was still busy thinking of him. my phone started buzzing, I answered the call,     Tina: Hey, today is my party, come with me.     I looked at the time and it was 6:00 in the evening, I still got time. I replied, “But I don’t know …. Will it be ok if I come?....”        Tina answered simply, “Yea… sure, don’t worry, come on… let’s enjoy a little and yes, don’t dress like a grandma…… I will wait for you near store in 30 minutes.” I smiled, but will he let me go… what I am even thinking I should at least have this much freedom…. I am going, that’s final.     I got dressed, yes… I promise, I don’t look like a grandma… not in this blue dress and high heels. I took my bag and walked to the main door… I noticed Edwin was still sitting on the sofa in living room and doing something on his laptop… I got down the stairs…. My footstep caused his attention……. He looked at me and I just kept walking like he doesn’t exist.         Edwin’s harsh cold words stopped my feet, “Where are you going?”    I maintained my straight face, I am not listening to him if he says me to stop. I turned to him and said, “I am going to a party with friends… so, Mr. Gray have a great night, bye.” I practically ran out of hall to the gate, I didn’t give him chance to speak.               I was walking with Tina, I looked around and yea, no one was following me. Maybe he don’t mind if I go to parties…. That’s a relief.        I asked Tina, “What is the occasion?”       Tina showed me her hand and I screamed with her, I yelled, “You got engaged…. Ahh, I am so happy.” Tina hugged me back.   I asked being impatient, “How does this happen?”    She giggled and said, “We were at his parent’s home yesterday for family dinner and he proposed me….. that was so magical…. I was going crazy… that was amazing,,,,, so my treat today.” she turned me around dramatically and I played along.     I asked, “When is the wedding?”  Tina simply answered, “Not planned yet… but I will do it soon.”    I replied, “I am waiting… but he really got you a pretty ring… so fascinating.”     Tin replied with a smile, “But your wedding ring is pretty,,, I wish-” both of our smile’s frozen as she talked about my wedding ring,,, I never wanted this, my wedding was not what I wanted. I heard Tina saying, “I am sorry… I didn’t mean to…” I replied with a smile, “Let’s enjoy today… don’t worry about me.” I was trying my best not to show how I wanted to cry at this moment… maybe I have most expensive wedding ring in my finger but it is symbol of my eternal cage that he created for me… and I am in it without knowing the reason…
