Cold but warm

Episode- 111  “cold but warm” **       Alisa’s POV:**     I practically ran to the kitchen, earlier he… was.. doing something to me… my heart wanted him to touch me more…. No, that’s not me… that’s definitely not me…. I am going crazy….     I started cooking, I am trying to get rid of these thoughts… he is nothing to me. I was cutting vegetables and I saw him entering the mansion… I tried to ignore him…. I am not letting him play with my feelings…. But he didn’t stop he walked upstairs… maybe I am thinking too much….      I was done cooking, I placed the food on the table and texted him to come….. I didn’t got a reply, I was nervous about him eating this food but maybe it’s normal for him, I went to grab juice for me from fridge and I saw him walking to me and talking his seat…… I served him food and about to leave him to have dinner…    As I turned to leave he grabbed my hand and said, “Eat with me.” I was just staring at him, he raised his eyebrow and I took seat beside him. We were eating, and I have to say he was well mannered and perfect while eating… I know my words sound ridiculous but that’s what I felt. He was still busy on his phone…. Bu the whole time he didn’t talked much, not at all.……. he left after he was done….. he is really cold and indifferent…… but why does it affect me so much…..     I cleaned the table, I know there are maids here but I did it anyways… I was going to my room, my mind is still asking why was he cold when we were eating… but I shouldn’t care right…. In start this what I wanted, he should ignore like I don’t exist but it bothers me so much…         I saw him getting out of his room, he was well dressed like he going for work. His is going out but it’s late… he walked to me and kissed me out of sudden. He parted himself from me and placed his hand on my cheek, my heart is beating so fast…. He said, “I have something to do… sleep and don’t cause trouble…. Good night, little dove.” He kissed my forehead and turned to leave, but he stopped and added, “You cook good…. You should cook often.” His voice was slightly husky but gentle… not much emotions but enough  to make me lose my breath… he left…. He is acting like we are real couple…. I mean a real happily married couple…….    I turned my head to see him till he was visible in front of my eyes, Edwin you are making me even more puzzled…. What are you?... cold and indifferent or that gentle kiss and warm touch……. But both of them had a deep effect on me and I am going crazy for it………        I am sitting on the bed and reading this book again, I know I am supposed be sleeping but sleep didn’t seem to finds its way to me…. Edwin has been out for hours already and I am trying to distract myself from him……………. but why does he lingers around him. ** hi, this is author please try my novel :the dark princess**
