“take the responsibility”

    Episode- 123 “take the responsibility”     Alisa’s POV:              I noticed Ken was entered the store… I panicked… this means Edwin is here? No! I should run away…. wait! This is my store… I maintained a straight face… Soon, Tina jumped into Ken’s arms and they appeared to be happy. They both separated and Ken greeted me… I did the same… I know I was cold to him but now he is my friends boyfriend I have to be good… or Tina will kill me…. and maybe he is just here for Tina, because I can see the flowers in his hands…    I asked Ken… “He is not with you, right?” he was questioned I can say by look on his face… but soon he understand and  replied, “No,, I was on break so I came to Tina… Sir, is not here.”   I said without realizing, “Thank god” Ken raised his both eyebrows and I covered up saying, “I mean you can spent time with Tina … Thank god…” Ken nodded but I feel he knows I was just making a story…    I asked for excuse leaving both the love birds alone and get to work. I should distract  myself from his thoughts………..       I was working on regular basis when my phone rang… I saw Uncle Peter’s number I answered the call and my feet went numb…. I rushed to the hospital…. Once again I got this view of my family standing outside the OT with worry and sadness…    I walked to them and I can clearly see anger and sadness in dad and grandma’s eyes… Mom was busy in comforting grandma… while dad’s face was tensed… Ruth was indifferent and worried…     I saw anxious Uncle Peter and rushed to him, I asked while worrying, “How is grandpa?”    Uncle Peter said, “The heart attack was minor, Doctor said he is fine but need care and rest… don’t worry.” But I know this not something I can forget and not worry about.    I wiped my tears and walked to Grandma, I tried to touch her hand but grandma pushed me saying, “Don’t touch me… because of you he is like this… he worries about trouble maker like you and lead him in this situation… he always kept asking about  you and look you almost killed him.”  that hurt… was I really the reason for this.. maybe I was… if grandpa was not worried about me then me might be good and healthy .. not on the hospital bed.       Doctor walked to us, I stood to hide my embarrassment and pain. The doctor told that grandpa was good and asked dad to come with him for further instructions… but before that he said, “Who is Alisa… the patient is calling her to meet.”   I walked to grandpa after closing the door… Uncle Peter was with me. I took grandpa’s hand and whispered, “I am sorry… because of me.” I have no courage to complete my sentence.   Grandpa smiled faintly and whispered, “I am fine… I am a strong man.. nothing is wrong with me.” I nodded with teary eyes and I know how brave is he.    Grandpa said, “I have something to ask?” I looked at him as if I am ready to agree to him.    Grandpa said, “You are eldest daughter of this family… if I die I want you to look after our business, your father is capable but he needs a helping hand… and you are responsible, smart and capable.. just help him out and learn the business… you are the future face of our family and business… Ruth is childish….. you take the responsibility” I was shocked and nothing came out of my mouth but I can’t agree…      Grandpa added, “I always wanted you both of  my granddaughters to have fun and carefree life… initially I planned to give my business to my grandson-in-laws after you both get married but…. After seeing Edwin.. I want you to be that place… maybe you won’t be carefree but I want to make you independent and stronger… and maybe  one day you can get out of him and be happy… sorry but I see this as only way.”
