being in a family again

Episode- 163 being in a family again     Alisa’s POV:        They both left but I asked his mother, “5 rounds?.... this property is huge.”   Edwin’s mother said, “They will be fine… it’s not even punishment for them.. it’s not like they will run… they will just stroll… they use penalties as bonding time… and we can use this as ours.” I smiled.   Edwin’s mom said, “Thanks…”   I was confused… she added, “Edwin lost his smile long ago as he got into business and stuff… he is responsible but he forgets to smile… but he smiling toady like he used to before he became responsible… at last this brat made a good choice by choosing you….”    I just looked at her not knowing what to do… her words are kind of incomplete….  Like there is always more to know….    Edwin’s mom said, “Sorry about my father, he scared you that day … he is overprotective…. He means no harm”  I nodded and return a smile saying, “It’s fine….. I understand.”    Edwin’s mom took my hand and said, “Alisa, dear… I know Edwin is short temper,,, he can be rude. I will not take his side just because he is my son…. You are the sweetest person I ever seen, if my son did anything wrong … you can come to me,,, I will protect you.” I nodded… she seems protective…      Edwin’s mom is sweet and loving… she treats me well… I hope my own parents can do the same… but anyways I finally feel like maybe I have a family….     We both were talking with each other and enjoying our talk… it’s been more than hour both Edwin and his father went to run around the property….. after like few minutes I saw Edwin and his father coming in… they both were sweaty…    They both looked at Edwin’s mom and then at each other… Edwin’s mom folded her hands around her chest glaring at them… Both Edwin and his dad said, “Sorry…. We will behave.” His mom said with satisfaction, “GOOD.” I couldn’t help but chuckle.. Edwin’s eyes met mine and he winked at me with a smile… I just looked down… I couldn’t help but control my shyness..    Edwin’s father said to Edwin’s mom, “Honey… we should leave..” Edwin stood beside me in mean time….     Edwin’s mom nodded while picking her bag. I opposed, “You can stay with us for a week.. I mean rest of the 5 more days with us… we all can have good time as a family.” Edwin poke his elbow to me and signaled me ‘no’…    Edwin’s mom smiled and said, “I think you both should spend time with each…. Next time we all will come here…. ok.”    Edwin’s father added, “We all are family now… we can come whenever we want in future, all four of us…. But this time it should be you two.. since my son planned it that way.” Edwin said, “Thanks dad.”    Edwin’s mom glared at him and said , “Take care…. arrange a family dinner when you return.. or I will kill you.” Edwin said, “As you wish mom… take care…”      Edwin’s mom said, “Alisa take dear…. Edwin come with us… I have something to discuss about business..” Edwin nodded…  I said, “Bye.. take care.”    They both walked out of the house and Edwin went with them… I sigh and sat on the sofa… it feels so good when someone consider you as family….
