“new life”

    Episode- 178 “new life”        Author’s POV:             2 years later,            Alisa was in her store just for few hours, as she is too busy to spend her all day here….  she works 4 days in her Grandpa’s company as her grandpa asked her after Ruth passed away, she still owns her business but visits it only on weekend. She was checking the records of sales expressionlessly when Tina asked her, “Hey… lets go to café..”     Alisa said without looking at her, “Just few more minutes…” Tina got annoyed and said, “come on, you are overworking..” she ignored her and after like more 20 minutes she got up and said, “Coffee?.”   They were having coffee in her favorite café, Alisa was looking at her phone as she was texting about some file  to her coworker at the company, she was at good post… she was actually in charge after her father…     Vic was also there was getting sick of her overworking behavior she developed in these months… her divorce changed her completely, she rarely goes out, she only talks when she has no other way, she got cold after he left her….    Vic said as he pulled her phone away, “little beauty…. Stop it… we are your friends come out of work… give some time for me and Tina..”    Tina nodded and said, “Look how beautiful the weather is.. it’s fall.. we should enjoy the view.” Alisa just nodded.. she tried to listen them as they speak to her… she kept sipping her coffee to avoid speaking…    That didn’t last for long, they heard news on the TV in the café,   “ News reporter- Ruler of N country King Arthur had established a new golden era for his country from past 2 years, today he adds another award to his name., the country is much more stable and peace is established as the citizens conformed… citizen are happy and cheerful after their new King arrived the Kingdom..”     Vic noticed Alisa’s finger tighten around her palms as she looked at the TV. She walked out carrying her things ignoring her friends calling her from behind… Tina said in annoyance, “Why is he everywhere?”       Alisa’s POV:                                 I drove to grandpa’s place as I promised to have dinner with them. Mom, Dad and Grandma are still the same to me… and I do not accept any changes..     as I am driving Edwin’s name is ringing in my head, he left to be King Arthur… he hide all of this from me, leaving and starting a new life,,, he played with me and don’t trusted me enough…. I hate him, I tried to forget him, but it’s not working after I spend those moments with him… I was a fool to believe in him… but still I am not going to him again, he is never returning because distance between us is filled with hate and betrayal…       I walked in mansion and I saw grandpa already waiting for me… I hugged him, at last he is the only one who didn’t let me alone or hate me… during the dinner, not everyone was happy but I was here for grandpa, so I ignored them all… after saying good bye to grandpa and went to dad and passed him a file saying, “The report from marketing department..” he took the file without sparing glance at me… and I have no choice to leave..     I don’t live in my parent’s house, I know mom dad won’t like it… instead I live in the apartment grandpa arranged for me… I decided I will never run for someone again, the only people I care for are my friends and grandpa….
