“meeting her family”

    Episode- 212 “meeting her family”     Alisa’s POV    The next day,        I am standing in front of one of the room, Edwin is beside me holding my hand.. I am nervous. My family is in this hall and I am too scared to go in.. but I need to explain it to them.. I need them in my big day     Edwin said, “Little dove.. don’t worry.. let’s go in..” he is ready to face it with me… but it would be too sudden for them… I grabbed his hand to pull his steps back. He was surprised and confused…. There is no definite expression but I know what he is thinking…     I said, “Edwin… let me go in first… I will tell them and then you can come in… please…”  I was pleading so he would understand, he looked at me and nodded.. I smiled.. he is obedient…   He said, “I will in nearby room… that hall has camera… I will not let your parent  go if they did anything  to you..” I nodded as I press my lips together..    I said as I reassure him, “nothing will happen…” he kissed my forehead.. and I walked in the room.. I have to face it, now or never….  There is no place to be coward Alisa… just face it   I closed the door behind me.. I turned to my family.. mom and dad are angry and so are my grandparents…      I know grandpa is about to explode.. but maybe he is waiting for me to speak.. I asked, “How are you grandpa?” I was nervous, he gestured me to sit without an answer.. and this is officially serious…    I walked to them and sat in front of grandpa. Before I could say anything, Grandpa said, “Alisa… did he forced you again for the engagement… this time I won’t let this happen”    He said again, “We can go to the media…. I know I am powerless in front of him, but we can figure out something…. You don’t need to worry, he can’t force you to live with him again..” how will grandpa react if he knows I love Edwin..      Mom said in between with anger, “We saw the news, she appeared to be willing in front of the media, didn’t you saw the news father-in-law… but you always act blind for her.. this b*tch stole my child’s love and still doing the same even when she is dead.. she didn’t care to inform us about any of this.” Mom looked at me with disgust, my eyes are already teary, I turned to dad but he looked away as if I am trash or something… this is not new to me, but it always hurt the same every time…     I looked at grandpa and said, “Edwin didn’t force me… I want to marry him again grandpa… I love him…. he is not like what you this” Grandpa was surprised, Dad looked at me with surprise too.. mom just scoffed with anger..    Grandma said, “How shameless are you going to be… running for the man who left you… this girl will sink our family name into ashes,,, I wish our Ruth was here… so we could have just lived seeing her.. I can’t even hold to see this disgusting girl” tear roll down, grandpa didn’t said anything, usually he would have stopped grandma but he is shocked because of my answer… I whispered, “Grandpa… please listen…”    Mom just said, “ what is there left to listen Alisa… do you even know what are you saying, If he was serious about you he won’t have divorced you in the first place…. You are being stupid.. I won’t agree to this.”   I shake my head in ‘no’ with teary eyes.. and looked at grandpa he is my last hope…. Before I could speak grandpa raised his hand to tell me I have to stop speaking…., grandpa said, “Sadly I think your mother is right.. if he wanted you then would he never have left you…. come back with me and I will forget today… I will consider it your childish behavior…” no… this is messing up… how to fix it….   I said as I tried to explain, “He had.. his reasons.. he explained… I know..”     Grandpa almost screamed, “Enough!!!! He is not good for you.. even if he is the King I will not allow this wedding.. I am worried about you… this is final”       I tried to speak again, “Grandpa.. please listen to me…”    Mom screamed at me and said, “Alisa!!... stop being shameless” she pushed me and I landed on the floor, grandpa said, “Stop!” but mom didn’t stop, I saw her raising her hand… I closed my eyes before the slap lands on me,… l feel helpless and fear I felt in my childhood when she use to hit me…    I head very clear, old, warning like voice, it was Edwin, “I warn you.. touch her and lose your head…”    He his eyes are red in anger, he warned, “I will cut off your hand if you try to hurt my Alisa.. you old women…” mom was startled and her step moved behind.. no.. he will do something to mom, he is angry on her.. I quickly said, “Edwin… no.. please…” his eyes landed on me.. he is hurt…     I was out of words.. Edwin walked in he was angry… he walked me and looked at me as I was in tears.. he placed his hand on my head and said, “Don’t cry…” he helped me get up and asked, “You ok?” I nodded.. I don’t want him to do something to them.. I know he loves me, he will not tolerate anyone to harm me even when it is my family….    He took my hand and walked to my mom he said, “Mrs. Scott… I warn you mind your words and hands, maybe she is your daughter, but I won’t tolerate this rude behavior towards her… you are called here because she wants you all to be her in her wedding, you all are alive because she said me once that whatever you do to her you are her family, but that doesn’t mean you can hit my women.. I will kill you and make body disappear, I don’t care if you are her mother, because mother is not a word it is a feeling.. a women like you don’t deserve it..… this is hard to believe,, a wicked women like you have a daughter pure as Alisa… if you won’t treasure her it’s your fault… but I will treasure her..” mom was speechless..  she was scared, I grabbed Edwin’s hand and said, “You are scaring her.. please stop..”    He almost screamed, “she should be scared to harm you…. if she is  not them she should be…” Edwin turned his to dad and said, “you are complete shame as a father… and person….” Dad looked away, like he don’t care but his heavy breath told me he is affected by Edwin’s word.. I noticed grandpa is looking at Edwin with anger…    Edwin turned to grandpa and walked to him, he stood straight in front of grandpa will all his pride and confidence, I am scared to be honest, Edwin said, “old  man Scott… I don’t know what you think of me.. I just want to tell you, I love Alisa, since long.. even before our marriage,,,,, I know I must not be most desirable candidate previously but I had my reasons for my behavior… but now I will not hold back…” Grandpa looked at me and then at Edwin… grandpa looked away as he is fuming in anger....   Edwin said, “I promise, till I am alive… I will make the her happiest person on the planet.. and you know it very well she won’t be happy in life you all gave her for 2 years… you know your family do not give her the respect she deserves.. even when she is innocent… you saw it yourself.. I will protect her till my last breath” Edwin grabbed my hand and pulled me to him….     My mom screamed, “She killed my Ruth… you are saying she is innocent…. Because of her my little Ruth died… I don’t care if I am bad mother to a murderer” anyone will see as a women who hates her own child and hate her, disgust in her.. but I just see my mom.. my mother.. I see a mother who is still grieving in pain for her lost child, I somewhat pity her… she said it right she is a bad mother to me but she is still good mother to Ruth… I am jealous of Ruth she got the mother to protect her forever…. I wiped my tear…
