“Ken who did this to you??”

     Episode- 223 “Ken who did this to you??”          Edwin’s POV:                          I was just looking at her sleeping beside me, it’s 9 in the morning already.. I want to get up and get to my work and stuff.. but she is cuddling in the sheets in my chest that everything seemed to be less important.. she is my cheery blossom in this hard life of mine.. I pushed her hairs which were covering her glowing face… my little dove, thank you for being with me.. as I see you beside me I find everything to finds its own meaning…       My phone ring, I quickly grabbed it so I won’t wake her up.. it was Ken.. I answered, “What??” I was angry.. he disturbed my perfect moment..      he said with slight annoyance, “My dear friend and my boss.. it’s already 9.. where are you?.. we have a meeting… and why are you angry on me.. come on the client is waiting for you.. they are being polite because you are the King.. don’t do this.. come fast…” he is annoying.. but he is right… I have to go… this meeting is important…       I said showing my annoyance, “I got your wife and son here.. why are still nagging on me…. go nag on them…” I heard him sigh.. even though Ken is my assistant but he is my friend first… that’s why I tolerate his nagging..      Ken said pleading, “Please.. be here… otherwise the whole schedule will be disturbed…..” he is right.. I remembered I have florist appointment with Alisa… no… I should be there on time there is no excuse in front of my little doves happiness… I can do anything for her…    I replied coldly, “Fine I will be there in 1 hour…” Ken said, “1 hour.. wait.. no..” I cut the call… he is nagging at me.. I wanted to see her wake up… I kissed her forehead and got out the bed… I covered her completely.. she spend last night reading this book of some comedy novel.. but I bet she has still not got half way done.. because of this thing she was awake all night.. I want to burn it down.. but my little dove loves novel… but I know she was reading it because she was worried about something.. she is so stubborn that she didn’t tell me.. fine I will find it myself…        I showered and got ready, she is still sleeping.. I said to myself, “Rest well..” I walked out of the room while I closed the door patiently so I won’t wake her up.. I can’t let her wake up..anyways the florist appointment is at 5 in the evening…    I saw some maids and warned them, “Don’t enter till she wakes her by herself.. you all would be in problem if you disturb her…” the shivered and said, “Yes.. your majesty….”    I was in the office as I was having meeting…. It took 1 hour to fix everything..Ken handled it well… the client left after trying to impress me.. but I know who is snake and who is crane… I looked at the file and compliment Ken, “So.. you did well…  sadly you are at your max level of promotion..” I chuckled.. Ken was standing behind me, so I haven’t looked at him completely yet,  but I know he is laughing.. he said, “I know…”    My dad walks in, he sat in front of me and said, “Son… the deal with Mr. Fox is complete and the money is also transferred to us.. so just check it once..” I nodded… dad helps me with grandpa’s business…  we look after it as the partners… the old man is still the chairman.. he was acting like a brat for complete retirement but I asked him to do this..  we need help…    Dad looked at Ken and said, “How are you doing Ken..” my dad and Ken are friendly with each other… dad’s voice fade as he looks up to Ken.. I see shock in Dad’s eyes but I was just looking at  the file..    I heard Ken saying, “I am doing good.. Mr. Gray..” I Heard dad’s angry voice, “Edwin!.. did you hit Ken… are you crazy or what…” I was surprised by the words, I turned to Dad as I said, “What…. No… why would I hit Ken..” I never hit Ken in my life….I turned to Ken as I turned behind… I finally saw Ken clearly and completely..   His cheek has red blue mark, as if he got bitten… I heard Dad, “you didn’t… then who” I got angry to see Ken like this… Ken was in awkward expression.. I asked as my anger is rising, “Ken.. who did this…” I was ready to kill someone’s ***..    Dad said as he was worried, “Yes,,, Ken no one can treat you like this… you are like family to us…” Dad took Ken like his son.. Ken is a good person… who will hate him..   Ken said while scratching his head, “Tina.. took a pregnancy test and she is pregnant...so… this….” I was frozen… Dad said awkwardly, “then.. she can treat you like this”…. what kind of girl is she… she is little dove’s friend but she is completely different than Little dove… but Tina has done a lot for my Alisa so.. I don’t mind if she kicks Ken’s ***.. anyways he got her pregnant…     I rolled my eyes as I said, “last time it was you head and the vase… this time it is you cheek… make sure don’t get her pregnant again.. I am sure she will kill you..” Dad started laughing… it was funny.. his wife uses no brain with actions….     Ken said with a smile, “But I am really happy… I wish this time it is a girl… she can hit me because she will go though that horrible labor as she gives birth… this is nothing… any ways she applied medicine herself after she hit me… she was in panic, she didn’t mean it…” I let a chuckle on his words.. he is right thought… the childbirth is the only reason that I don’t want my little dove to go through it… but I know she wants kids…    Dad said as he pats Ken’s shoulder, “Congratulations…  it amazing when  you hold your child for the first time…. I was in tears when Edwin was born..” Dad was lost in his thoughts and memories as the tells about this.. Ken was also in same kind of state… Ken said as he nodded with a smile, “Yes… it was amazing.. MY Noel was so tiny that I was scared I will hurt him.. but I  learnt it well..now my boy is amazing..” I kind of feel jealous…  if I am honest.. all of my classmates and friends have kids.. that Lee’s daughter was born 3 months  back.. just I am remaining to be a dad…. Vic is different case because he is in love with my little dove… I want a kid of mine too… but I don’t want to force it.. I want it to happen out of love.. I don’t want my little to be pressured…      After few minutes dad left as mom’s called him, Ken was still day dreaming.. this idiot… I said, “Get to work.. or I will not let you leave on the day of birth….” Ken said, “Sorry… but I am not worried.. I will feel bad but I know her friend meaning out future Queen will be there for my wife… last time she was there with us,… she is a good friend.. even though you are cold..” I looked at him sharply and he turned to his work and walked to the door.. he is right, Alisa will be there….    I said, “Stop.. find about something..” Ken turned to and walked back in…I said, “Alisa.. I feel like there is something going on… she worried about something..” Ken sat in front of me and said causally, “Talk to her… maybe it’s just that she is in new place…” does he thinks  that I am stupid.. it’s not this easy.. there is something else..        I replied as this is getting in my nerves, “No… I asked but she won’t tell…..” ken answered after he thought for few minutes, “Maybe it’s nothing to worry…” but this is not convincing…     I rested on the chair and said, “I still need to know… go and check everything check her bank details… tap her mom and dad’s phone.. keep eye on her parents and check her call records… if you find anything unusual then tell me… you have just one day..” Ken nodded and left… I can’t let anything to harm her.
