Season 2: Episode- 40

  Season 2: Episode- 40   Alisa’s POV: I just sat there frozen as he left, his phone rang and he just broke the hug and went outside to talk… but his words….. “I just need you to say I am good enough…. Be the warmth for me, Little dove… just let me embrace you….”  There is something in me which light up when he says something like this…. but won’t it be wrong to choose him, I will be one of those women who climb into him.. or he is just tricking me with these words… no, it’s not allowed to be moved by these words when he didn’t even means any of these… or does he really means what he said…. If he does means it then… my heart is in problem…   Something inside me reminded me, ‘come on Alisa… are you blinded by his money or his looks? Are you this cheap?... disgusting! Ron loves you and trust you and you are breaking it with his cousin… You are disgusting Alisa Scott… just like those cheap women…’  I stood up in instant as something reminded me of my mistake… I won’t commit these mistakes… I will maintain distance from him….    After few minutes Edwin walks in doing something on his phone, I looked at him blankly. Edwin said, “Little dove, get ready we are going for a long ride…. I usually don’t have this much time, so let’s use this for good.”    I kept my eyes on my laptop screen doing something, Edwin didn’t got any answer so he looked at me and asked, “What are you doing?”  I said dryly, “I need to finish some work….. it’s urgent so…” I don’t want to fight, when he is being nice to me. Edwin said simply, “Alisa…. you can do it later…. Come on.”   I said, “No… actually it’s really important for me… Sorry, Edwin….” His face became serious.   He asked, “Are you serious?” like he didn’t like how I was behaving, he was giving me a chance to change my words.    But before I could speak, my phone rang, I answered it ignoring Edwin’s stares. I said, “Hi… Ron… how are you doing there?” I clearly felt the cold stares… so my eyes met with Edwin. He was not pleased.    I answered Ron, “Babe… I am good… I miss you too.” I noticed Edwin’s feast tighten. I feel terrible at this situation.  But I got worried as I heard that he hasn’t been sleeping because he has too much work, and right now he is preparing some document regarding his new project… it’s past bed time in aboard.  I said, “Ron… send the information… I will do it for you..” he refused, but I insisted, “You are doing all of that for us… so I am responsible for some part.”    After  I was done with the call I looked at Edwin, he didn’t said anything but I don’t want him to speak. He left the room without words…. I feel uneasy about all of that….
