I thought we were buddies…Yes, I abandon her…. that’s not new…. but why would I hurt Mike then…. I raised him….”   I smirked and said, “You care only about profit… whom we are kidding?”   Mr. Dark said, “SO true… I created this image, but today I am not please to hear this on this topic…. I will never hurt my own blood.. my son or daughter…. even if I was never a father figure… and what will I get by that.. even if there was something to get, I won’t beat the bush.. you know me well, I prefer burning the bust…”   he is right….. he won’t fear anyone if he wants something… and I see no profit in this for him…. wait….. maybe there is….   the inheritance form Her mother’s side….   or did the brothers Forest and Aiken did this… if they need the money, they would have took it when Alisa gave it to them…. those brother’s see no point in playing these games…..    I said to Mr. Dark, “IF something happens to her…. you will be the one to receive the inheritance from her mother’s side…. am I right?”   I questioned looking at him, Mr. Dark scoffed and said, “You are being crazy for your women…. I understand your anger, but she is my daughter…. I never played this dirty….”    I warned, “I don’t care if it’s Whitter’s or you… I am just warning you all… be aware…. I am here to protect my women….”   He got close scoffing, he said, “You heard by your man, this attack was done by Montez… it’s attack on me.. and you are questioning me…. I never knew this system..” he mocked.  Yea…. right…. but still everyone is on my radar till I go to the end of this.  Mr. Dark said, “Alisa and Mike are my kids, and I will find the person who hurt them on my self… that bastard attacked for some gold trade… it will cost him life….” I scoffed, now he will pay in blood….    But they knew exact place and location, that means there are spies in the house…. or anywhere near….  more Alisa stays here she will be more in danger. I walked out of there and called Ken, to put some secret security for Alisa….  now she is not just Alisa Scotts, she is daughter of Mr. Dark, grandchild of Whitters, and my women…. she is in enough danger.   after few minutes I got in her room with lot of courage.   I got in and saw her sitting, she looked at me and stayed silent. I got close to her and sat on the bed in front of her.   I don’t know what to say,    I touched her face and whispered, “You ok… sorry…. you got hurt….”    she didn’t said anything, I know she is angry. I grabbed her hand and asked, “How you got hurt, little dove?”   She said, “You are alright….”  she whispered this, and I can only think, she cares about me.    She whispered, “It’s not your fault this time… it’s Mr. Dark’s fault, he made enemies and …. but Edwin… this will happen again…. and some will be hurt… some will die…”   I said, “stop….”  she looked at me, I asked, “You are trying to plant fear in me?” she looked down…, I know what she is doing this…  I said, “Alisa… listen…. when you are born in something you have nowhere to run…. and I promise no one can do anything against us….. You lost right to complain or say anything…. your father is one of us….”   She looked at me in tears, I sigh, I asked, “Don’t worry….. no one will hurt you…. I am sorry for just now…”   she whispered as tear rolled her cheeks, “But… I…. am worried.. about you….. I can not… see you die…”
