Chapter 2 Consistency
His cold fingertips caused Vera to squirm.
"No" She tries to reject Winston, and she doesn’t want him to touch her with those hands that just touched someone else.
Vera rejected him, Winston observed.
For the first time that a well-behaved and docile woman is disobedient, his expression became slightly cold.
"Vera, you know very well that I have no patience. You better don’t piss me off.”
After that, he held her and kisses her hard. He bit her lips and licks her luscious red lips.
"Its your last night here, don’t disappoint me."
His hoarse voice saying those ruthless words as he took her, made her heart tremble.
Dawn.
Vera stared blankly at the empty spot next to her, already cold.
She didn’t know when Winston left.
On the bedside was a business card of the moving company that was helping her to move out today.
"Move out early in the morning."
Short and simple has always been Winston’s attitude.
Vera stood up and walked towards the mirror, seeing all the marks Winston left on her body last night. She laughed bitterly.
He took off his clothes and had her easily, playing her on his fingertips.
Soon, Vera begins to pack her stuff.
Winston wants other women to live in, so there must be no trace of her belongings in this room.
Vera knows his temper and does not intend to touch his piss him off.
If you want to get together and get away, you should draw a successful conclusion to this self-righteous relationship.
When I move to the new apartment, night has fallen.
Vera lays down to rest with a tired face, but the strange environment kept her sleepless all night.
On the morning shift the next day, Vera arrived at the air control tower with dark circles under her eyes.
The 118-meter-high tower is her workplace.
The tower is surrounded by transparent floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooking the entire Bayport’s Airport.
As an air traffic controller, Vera must pay close attention to the air traffic order and maintain a high degree of concentration.
Vera made three cups of coffee in a row and drank two cans of Red Bull, which made herself a little bit more energetic.
At 1.15, there was a sound from the radio equipment.
"Bayport Tower, this is pilot of SJ 518." A deep and raspy male voice came out.
Standard broadcasting tone, clear words.
It only took Vera a second to hear that it was Winston’s voice, and as always, it made her heart pound.
"Please speak." Vera stabilized her emotions, keeping her voice calm.
"SJ 518 request for descent." The voice on the other side was as usual.
"The ground wind is 50 degrees, taxiway 01, descend and maintain five thousand.."
Vera held the wireless microphone in her hand, and her eyes fell on the white plane falling from the sky outside the window.
"Welcome back, SJ 518." She whispered.
Welcome back, Winston.
When a day of work was over, the leader suddenly sent a notice, saying that today an old employee has returned to Sawyer Airlines, and all the personnel has to go to welcome her.
Vera had just arrived in the hall and saw Winston in a white uniform standing in the front. His hair was disheveled and his uniform outlined his chiseled body. He was tired from the flight but the cosmic smile that he had on his face made heat spread through Vera’s body.
Behind him stood a row of flight attendants uniforms, forming a beautiful landscape.
After seeing the delicate woman standing beside Winston, Vera smiled, but anyone who saw it could tell it was a bitter and sad smile.
Elsa. Her sister, also the woman Winston is courting.
The leader spoke on the stage: "This is the newly appointed flight attendant, Elsa. She will be the main flight stewardess for SJ 518. She has been an air stewardess abroad for several years. This time she came back here to make contributions for Sawyer Airlines. Let us welcome her!"
There was endless applause from the audience, but Vera remained frozen.
Elsa turned his gaze on Vera, and then looked at everyone with a smile: "Coming back here, sure does bring back many memories, home will always be home, and the people are still familiar."
She paused, turned her eyes to look at Winston softly, and naturally took his hand, and continued: "I hope I will have a good time with everyone when flying with Winston in the future."
Their intimate posture stung Vera’s eyes.
Seeing them pulled at her heartstrings, her heart hurts and she could hardly maintain a smile on her face.
She forcibly stabilized her emotions a little bit and looked straight at Winston.
But what the man said completely crushed her heart.
"I want to announce to everyone that Elsa is not only the air stewardess of SJ 518, but also my fiancee who I have been in love for seven years."
