‘Do anything?’ Damon chuckle coldly, ‘You really are the same as old, you have no bottom line’. A tear fell from the corner of her eye, Agatha couldn’t let herself fall apart, ‘Please, I’m begging you’. ‘Too bad, I have no interest in that filthy body of yours’. Damon pushed her and walked away. Agatha didn’t know how to break it to Jaden, he’s been so excited for this she didn’t want to let him down. But, who can she still ask? ...... Damon pushes open the door to the ward. ‘You’re back’. Jessica shut the book in her hand and look at him ‘the results are out?’ ‘Don’t mention it’. With a dark complexion on his face, Damon tried to cool down. He kindly asked her ‘Are you feeling unwell or uncomfortable anywhere?’ Jessica shook her head as she smile gently. ‘You are here, nothing’s gonna happen’. She got off the bed, and hugged Damon’s waist. With a gentle voice she said, ‘Damon, I kept having nightmares these two days, that you might leave me, I’m scared’. ‘I won’t’ Damon lightly pat her back, ‘I won’t ever leave you’. During his worst days, Jessica was the one who stood by his side, and he understood who is the person he should cherish. But dang, what’s with the fretful feeling in his heart? Outside the ward, Agatha leaned against the wall, tears she has been holding in starts to flow out. [Damon, will you leave me?] [I won’t.] [Then what if Grandpa wants you to marry someone?] [My future wife, is you.] [What if my parents don’t agree?] [Then I’ll continue to love you until they agree.] The sweet words from the past lingers in her ears, but now, he is married to another woman. It turns out his affection can be given to anyone easily. After confirming that Damon left, Agatha entered the ward. The corner of Jessica’s mouth tipped up as she smirk coldly, ‘Are you looking for me?’ ‘Can you please help me with this favor?’ Agatha fidget, ‘Ask Damon to visit Jaden’. ‘Why would i help you?’ Jesscia stood in front of her, her head held high as she stood firmly with a smug look on her face. ‘Please I’m begging you’. ‘So you are begging me now huh?’ Jessica raised her voice offensively. The feeling of having this princess under her feet, is so refreshing. But the arrogance in Agatha still stood, ‘I saved your life once, if it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t be here......’ ‘Yes, I should thank you for that’ Jessica smiled coldly, ‘Thank you for paying all my dad’s debt, and thank you for helping me into college. What I should thank you more, is for letting me meet Damon, if it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t know why fate is so unfair. You live a life full of luxury, but I have to work hard to get a full meal. Agatha, just who do you think you are? You should have a taste of the world’s bitterness, what ever you’ve received, is getting back at you, you and that ugly son of yours!’ Slap! With all her might, Agatha slapped Jessica in the face. ‘You……’ Jessica’s eyes started to fill with anger and hatred. Who would have thought that Damon would choose that moment to return. A second later, tears began to fall out of Jessica’s eyes, she covers her face without saying a word, looking aggrieve. ‘Agatha Spring!’ Damon grab Agatha’s wrist angrily, ‘You must have a death wish!’ Agatha smiled as he looks distressed. The pain in her heart grew earnestly as she place a hand on her heart, ‘You can say whatever you want about me, but not my son, whoever dares lift a finger on my son, I’ll fight them!’ ‘Oh really?’ Damon’s voice filled with anger, ‘Is that rascal really that important to you?’ ‘He is not a rascal! Damon, I don’t care if you believe me or not, I have never slept with any other man than you! He is your child!’
