“Ah Sheng, who’s there?” Hearing the energetic voice outside the door, Yu Jinli asked curiously. The members of Divine Beast were surprised to hear a soft and sweet voice, especially from their chief’s room. They wanted to see who was in there but didn’t dare to do so in front of their chief. However, something more surprising was yet to come. Their chief, who was always cold as ice melted at that voice with a faint curve on his lips as he turned around and spoke to the person inside: “My team members.” “Team members?” repeated Yu Jinli as he craned his neck curiously to get a better view. Jiang Mosheng stepped aside from the door to let the members in. Through the French window, light fell on the boy who sat cross-legged on the carpet. His exquisite appearance was lovelier in the halo which attracted everyone’s attention. It was the first time that team members of Divine Beast saw Yu Jinli. It was also the first time they saw someone in their chief’s room, especially sitting in such a casual posture without being reprimanded by their chief. Probably because Jiang Mosheng had been influenced by his father since he was a child, he would stand straight and sit upright like a soldier no matter what the occasion was. He would demand the same from his subordinates, even his friends. So, members Divine Beast had long been accustomed to his cold and harsh style. Now that they saw someone who could act so casually in front of their chief without being scolded, they were immediately curious. As members of Divine Beast watched Yu Jinli carefully, he was examining them as well. In front of him, all seven members were in trim military uniforms, valiant and heroic in bearing. Besides, all seven of them had a faint virtue golden glow around them which meant they had all saved a lot of lives. Yu Jinli always had a favorable impression of people like them so he gave them a big smile. “Why are you standing around? Please, take a seat.” He followed the way mom received guests as he spoke to the seven members smilingly. The members turned to their chief for his opinion, worried that he would get angry. After all, they had never seen anyone give orders in front of their chief. However, to their surprise, not only wasn’t their chief angry at Yu Jinli for acting on his own initiative, but he also looked at him gently. White Tiger pinched himself quietly. It hurt, which meant he wasn’t in a dream. That made him wonder whether he was in the wrong place, that it wasn’t his chief’s room at all, only that this man in front of him looked like his chief. His chief wasn’t a tender man. When Jiang Mosheng was in front of Yu Jinli, he was tender and gentle. However, he put his poker face back on when he spoke to his subordinates. “Have a seat,” said Jiang Mosheng coldly. White Tiger was relieved. This was his chief. The members were quick this time and started to introduce themselves. “I’m White Tiger.” White Tiger’s introduction was brief. Yu Jinli’s eyes glowed as he heard that and asked excitedly: “White Tiger? As in the four divine beasts?” “Yes.” White Tiger didn’t know why Yu Jinli was so excited but nodded honestly anyway. That made Yu Jinli even more thrilled. God, he never thought he would meet White Tiger here. It used to only exist in legends. He did nothing wrong. Why was chief’s stare so frightening? He felt a more menacing air around chief than before, which made him want to rush out. Fortunately, it was someone else’s turn, which saved White Tiger from the torture. “I’m Azure Dragon. I...” Before Azure Dragon finished speaking, he got the same treatment as White Tiger, perhaps a more horrifying treatment for Yu Jinli jumped off his feet this time and walked to Azure Dragon with a piercing gaze. “Azure Dragon? Was there a misunderstanding? Wasn’t chief’s fiancé some guy called Yu Jinsheng? Had he changed his name? However, none of them ever saw Yu Jinsheng as chief’s fiancé. Their chief hadn’t confirmed that either. Besides, they didn’t have a good impression of that arrogant boy. Compared with Yu Jinsheng, Yu Jinli was a dear. It was unbelievable that their chief had such a gentle side. Their brother-in-law was amazing. The members turned to Yu Jinli with respect.
