Chapter 62 I’ll Think About You Everyday
Lesly quickly packed up and went downstairs with the two children.
Finley would arrive in a few minutes.
Harry was still sitting on the sofa, motionless with his head down.
Lesly couldn’t help but secretly glance at him a few times, and she also felt uncomfortable in her heart.
Lesly remembered how good Harry had been to her. Indeed, Lesly should have spent the rest of her life repaying Harry’s kindness, but it could not be due to that kind of love.
Lesly could be Harry’s lifelong good friend or even Harry’s nanny, but she could not be his lover.
Thus, staying with Harry would only harm him.
Soon, Finley’s car arrived.
He drove a black minivan with spacious seating and a spacious trunk. It was just enough to hold the luggage of the three people.
The door opened, and a young boy jumped down. He had bright blonde hair, fair skin, clean appearance, and looked very cheerful.
"Ms. Atkins, Master Lucca, Princess Lulu!" Finley smiled brightly. "Hello everyone!"
Lucca frowned when he saw Finley.
Finley had been pestering Lucca for a long time. He had begged Lucca to accept him as an apprentice. He always asked Lucca some stupid questions, which resulted in Lucca being annoyed.
Lulu widened her eyes. After looking at him for a while, her eyes lit up. "Ah, I remember you. You are Brother Finley!"
"Lulu!" Finley frowned. "I have told you many times. Call me Finley. Don’t call me Brother Finley. It sounds weird."
"Oh." Lulu nodded obediently. "Alright, Brother Finley."
Finley, "..."
Finley was exasperated and did not bother anymore. He looked at Lucca and smiled brightly. As soon as he showed his brilliant and enthusiastic smile, Lucca turned his head with a cold face and got into the car.
Finley, "..."
Well, his master was really cold as always.
Finley did not seem to care about such details at all. He quickly picked up their luggage.
Soon, several suitcases were all moved into the trunk.
Before leaving, Lesly turned back and looked at the living room of the villa.
From that angle, she could faintly see Harry still sitting in the same position. He did not seem to have moved at all.
Lesly bit her lips, and a sense of guilt welled up in her.
It was indeed too much for her to treat Harry like that.
"Mommy, I’m going to say goodbye to Uncle Harry, okay?"Lulu said at this time, "I’ll also tell Uncle Harry to take good care of himself in the future."
It was most appropriate to let Lulu say goodbye. Lesly immediately agreed. "Okay, go."
Lulu ran into the house and ran towards Harry. She clung to Harry’s knees and blinked her eyes. "Uncle Harry, don’t be sad. I’ll think about you every day."
Harry forced a smile and patted Lulu’s head. "Thank you."
Lulu held Harry’s hand.
She was pretty much brought up by Harry. When she was a child, Lesly had been with school and work. Now, looking at Harry’s state of loss, Lulu could not help but feel sorry for him.
"Don’t worry. In the future, Lulu will come back often to see you." Lulu touched Harry’s face consolingly. "Don’t be sad, okay?"
Harry held Lulu’s hand and could not help but rub it. He said in a hoarse voice, "Alright, I’m not sad. I’ll wait for you here."
Lulu felt even sadder in her heart. She hugged Harry for a while, reluctant to leave. In the end, Harry was the one who took the initiative to send her to the door.
Harry stood at the door and watched Lesly’s car drive away.
The car slowly disappeared from his sight.
Harry’s depressed expression gradually faded away.
Lesly’s actions today was indeed depressing for him, but it was also completely within his expectations.
Harry even wished that Lesly had been more ruthless, that way he could carry on with his following plans.
