I will prepare it for you. " Abhi replied with a mischievous smile "you". Shriya was shocked to hear him say it and she don’t know what to say to him. She stood there silent and before she could process her mind, she was pulled her by hand to sit on the bed beside him and she felt his soft lips on hers and she was shocked and her eyes were wide open. She didn’t resist him nor she react to him, she sat there stiff and silent as if she was a rock. Though she liked it she didnot respond to him nor dared to expressed her feeling. He then moved back a little and looked at her surprised face. He said mischievously " I know you liked it and I hope you give me back my kiss which I lent you just now." She heard his words and she was even more shocked to hear him ask her a kiss in such a different way. Her face was red as all the blood rushed to her face and she looked shy and extremely adorable with her blushed cheeks. When he was about kiss her again they heard the door open and then entered Rahul and Preeti who is standing next to him silently. They were taken aback to see Abhi there and in such a posture with his hand around her neck. Shriya stood up from the bed immediately feeling embarrassed as if she was caught red handed doing something which she shouldn’t have done. Abhi sat at the same spot without much expression. Preeti was about to run to Abhi but Rahul stopped her by holding her hand by her wrist. She looked at him and he nodded her to stay there. Rahul was not a serious person and always makes fun and easy going. He said with an awkward smile "I think I came at the wrong time. But believe me this is very important." He has a confused expression on his face and he looked at Shriya scratching back of his head with his right hand finger nails. He was still holding Preeti in his left hand tightly and said " I think Preeti has some problem, I think..." he seemed to be searching for right words. Shriya panicked hearing this and her face became stiff and Abhi asked his brother in a calm tone "Is something wrong with her ?" he then glanced at Preeti and said "but she seemed fine just now. What happened princess? Are you hurt some where? Do you feel pain?" he asked in a soothing and calm tone to which the little girl shook her head ’no’ Abhi knew if something was wrong with the little girl then Rahul must have been in a panic attack and would have informed them immediately. So he was not in a panic and was a bit calm. Then he looked at his brother and asked "what ?". Rahul said looking down and pinching the space between his eyebrows "I think she has her first period now,I mean menstruation". Abhi was dumbfounded hearing what his brother said and thought, ’Isn’t she only 10 years old. Then how is this possible.’ Hearing this Shriya felt relieved and looked at Preeti. She went to her sister who was like a scared kitten, knelt down beside her and asked her " tell me what happened? " * * * * * Abhi left Preeti’s room after they finished all her work and Rahul also wished them good night and went to his room. After a few minutes the maid gave him a glass of milk and went the other room which is Preeti’s. He got a call from his girlfriend Gouthami and took the glass in his right hand and walked out of his room while speaking on the phone. He saw the maid walk out of Preeti’s room. As usual he went to check on Preeti to see whether she finished her milk or not. He was busy on the phone and he noticed the room was empty and just then Preeti entered the room from the bathroom holding her stomach with her hands. She has a pained expression on her face and when he saw her face he instantly hung up the phone and asked her if she was feeling pain anywhere. She already told him when she was returning from school that she has a bad stomach ache. He just thought that she might be feeling pain because of indigestion or something and asked the maid to give her something to relieve the pain of constipation. But when he saw the tiny red marks on her white night dress, he felt dumbfounded. He then called his girlfriend and asked her in a hurry, soon after she answered her phone. The first thing he asked was "Is it possible for a ten year old girl to have her periods?" Gouthami was taken aback by his sudden question but the doctor in her reacted immediately and replied in an instant "yes, it is possible, Some children may have it early ", though she was talking to him, he hung up on her again. He went to her and helped her to sit on a couch and she had the same pained expression thiygh she tried to hide it. He gave her a glass of water to drink. He then asked her placing his hand on her head in a consoling and a gentle tone "What happened ?" She innocently replied in a pained voice "I don’t know I have a bad stomach ache." He asked "Why ?" She yelled with an angered expression "I don’t know" and her years were moist with tears. She looked like she was about to cry anytime soon. Rahul consoled her with patience, he understood due to her pain she was getting irritated. He then said "Then why didn’t you tell your dhi that you were feeling pain." She shook her head "Dhi will be tensed if she know, don’t worry. It is bearable." He looked at her surprised. He know her for at least three months now but he didn’t see this side of her. She was actually concerned about her sister even though she was in pain. Rahul shook his head and on seeing the tears roll down from her eyes, he wiped them off from her cheeks and said with a calm expression. He assured her "Don’t worry. Let’s go to your dhi now, It will be okay, trust me you should tell her." Hearing Rahul’s words of assurance, she thought for a moment and nodded her head. He took her right hand in his left hand and walked towards Shriya’s room.
