Seeing the way Manvi reacted Shriya felt a bit relieved and she decided to open up to her and nodded her head. Manvi replied "So you guys have started to do some things.. hahaha". Shriya shook her head in a hurry and answered in fright "no no", she shook her both hands in front of her to which Manvi replied "Tell me exactly what is that bothering you. I can see so many things are bothering you lately". Shriya nodded her head "well I just wanted to ask you," she hesitated for a few seconds and continued " I heard that you and Uday bhaiya belong to different communities and you got married against your parent’s will". Manvi nodded her head and had a faint smile on her face. She said " Yes, I am a Christian and you know he is a Hindu. We both have different back grounds, we met when Bhaiya came to our college as a guest for a cultural event. I was in the final year of my post graduation. I used tobe a fan of bhaiya and when I tried to get his autograph, I met Uday." She has a beautiful smile on her face when she was going through all the memories from her past, she giggled and that expression was one beautiful sight to see. She then continued "After that we met once in a while and exchanged our numbers and our friendship turned a relationship. Our both families opposed to it because we belong to different backgrounds but bhaiya was the one who helped us to get married." Shriya listened to her each word carefully as if she was taking all the words told by Manvi directly her brain. Manvi continued "I know that you must be feeling inferior to bhaiya. I understand your feelings but believe me in love all these things doesn’t matter. What matters the most is the love between you two and I know he loves you more than anything else in this world. I know you also love him but you are not accepting it and aren’t ready. You might be afraid of facing the truth. But I really want to advice you on something, don’t worry more about anything else. Don’t hesitate to show what you feel about bhai. Reciprocate his feelings. I am not trying to force you but don’t stop yourself because of these trival matters. He deserves love and you deserve him too.You both are meant tobe together." Shriya didn’t say anything more and kept staring at her friend who said so many things to her at once that her brain is so full to gather everything. Manvi gave her some time and thought to herself ’orelse I might scare her, enough with the serious talk, let’s lighten up the mood’. Manvi asked "So you guys made any progress in your relationship or not ?" Manvi looked at her and was silent seeimh her friend’s expression. Shriya shook her head and asked a little disappointed "Atleast kiss?" Shriya blushed and nodded her head as she thought she can share her thoughts with Manvi. Manvi looked a little enthusiastic to listen to it and Shriya felt a little embarrassed to say it to Manvi afterall it was a private matter. Manvi smiled and said "Bhaiya must be having a really hard time with you staying here afterall how long can he be a forced bachelor." Shriya was in shock to hear her friend’s bold words. * * * * * * Naveen dragged Brahmini out of the cafeteria. He released her hands and turned to look at her. She seemed a little tired and the dark circles under her eyes are clearly visible even though she tried to cover them up with make up and mascara. He stared her blue eyes and he said firmly "I wanna talk to you". Brahmini heard his firm voice and nodded her. He took her to a nearby ice cream parlour and both sat at a table which is in the far end of the restaurant. Brahmini sat there silently without looking at him. She was ignoring him but after a few seconds Naveen took a deep breathe and said "Brahmini let’s date". Naveen was so straightforward in his words that Brahmini was caught off guard and she was shocked to process with this sudden proposal. Brahmini looked at him with her eyes wide open and it was like she was in a trance. She didn’t expect him tobe that straightforward. He continued after a few seconds "I know you are friends with madam and I work for her. But believe me I’ll be nice to you and I hope you don’t my status. I have been working for my boss for the past four years and I have been the best employee among my colleagues since then, you should know that I have to follow my owner every where and there are no particular timings for my job. That’s the reason why I never thought about being in any relationship, but when I saw you, everything changed." He was saying everything he has on his mind but Brahmini needed some time to process his every word. She thought ’If I was not wrong he is proposing me, isn’t he?’ she asked herself. She felt like she was dreaming. She wanted to pinch herself to see if she was dreaming. She pinched her right arm with her left hand fingers and she felt pain which means she isn’t dreaming. Naveen saw this and he found her act very funny but cute at the same time. She sat there and after a while she looked at him, smiled and tears rolled down from her eyes. Naveen wiped her tears from her cheeks with his finger tips, and she held his hands in hers. He stared at her and she smiled at him. After having ice cream, both came out of the parlour and sat on a bench in the college premises. Brahmini looked at him and said "my family is a middle class family and I am studying here with the help of scholarships which I earned during the last year. I sometimes give tutions to children for my pocket money. You saw my house already" she said looking towards the ground. Naveen listened to her and nodded his head.Naveen said " As you know I work for Abhishrk Malhotra and now I am currently working as a driver and a body guard for madam. What we do for living is not something we should be ashamed of," he smiled at her and kissed her cheeks.
