Chapter 78 Her Past 7

Manvi and Uday stayed overnight at the Malhotra Mansion. The next morning after breakfast Uday and Abhi went to their office as usual, Manvi and Shriya went to their college. Uday ordered someone to clean the apartment as Rahul and Gouthami had to stay over there for a few days. Abhi doesnot want to meddle himself with the couple’s fight and he was also a bit worried about Shriya. He didn’t inform Rahul and others about it yet and he decided to tell them all in the evening. After this work, both friends went on a trip to a place regarding their real estate which is a oart of the office work. * * * * * * Rahul dropped off Preeti at her school. She was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn’t even realise that they have reached her school. Rahul looked at her adorable but withered face, he smiled at her innocent face and patted her head with his hands. This gesture brought Preeti back to her senses and she looked at him. He said with a smile on his lips "what is my little devil thinking about so seriously that she didn’t even realise that we already reached her school?" Preeti shook her head and Rahul said "I think you must be planning to skip school again today but you can’t do that afterall every girl has this problem and they don’t bunk classes just because of that." Rahul understood what she was thinking and thought she must have been afraid of this new situation afterall she is just a ten year old kid. So he decided to calm her nervousness, but at the same time he thought he should be more careful about her from now on, and felt like his responsibilities were increased. He didn’t know why but he always felt responsible for that little kid. * * * * * * Just when Shriya and Manvi were about to board the car, Naveen came and opened the car door for Shriya. She was a little taken back to see him there. She thought to herself ’Isn’t he supposed tobe on leave ?’. She observed him, he was not wearing his usual black suit, he wore a white formal full sleeved shirt with black trousers paired with a pair of black shoes. He looked very dignified but at the same time a lot more stylish and different than his usual self. He sat in the front pilot seat of the car while Shriya and Manvi sat on the back seat. Both girls observed his every move. While they were talking the other day, Shriya told Manvi about the weird atmosphere between Naveen and Brahmini. The curious bug again itched in Manvi’s brain. After about a half and an hour time Naveen pulled out his mobile from his pant pockets. He dialled a number on it and said with a calm expression "We will be there in atleast 20 minutes. You wait there at the gate". After a few minutes, he turned back his head to see Shriya and said "Madam, Brahmi is coming to college too and she will be there in 5 minutes and will wait for us." Shriya nodded her head with a smile. Manvi laughed mischievously at Naveen’s words. He gave Brahmini a nick name too "Brahmi", which means they are definitely together. Uday has already told her the previous night that Naveen has taken a decision regarding Brahmini. She was happy for them but Abhi and Shriya didnot make any progress in their love life. They were there where they started. Abhi wanted to give her time to settle and Shriya don’t want to accept the reality of how much Abhi loves her. She is so stubborn, to believe that everything is temporary. Manvi sighed deeply and felt pity for these two love birds. Shriya felt happy and really wanted to accept her feelings and Abhi’s but she was afraid that everything will be gone one day. She never wanted the money and all the comforts that Abhi has provided her. She want Abhi. Now she is in a state where she couldnot even imagine a single day without him by her side. She don’t want to take Abhi for granted. But she also wanted to become someone who Abhi feels proud of. She wanted to become someone who is worthy enough tobe with him. * * * * * Rahul dropped off Preeti at the school and he was about to go to office when he received a call from his brother. Abhi instructed him to go to the apartment and get it cleaned and to make a few changes according to their taste. He also asked his brother to pack his things and move to the apartment. Rahul felt confused and felt lost to think that he has to spend his time alone with his angry girl friend. He also felt bad because he has to leave the Mansion. He became so attached to Preeti and Shriya that it didn’t feel good for him but he also knew whatever his brother said is for his own good. So he decided to follow this decision. * * * * * * The car entered the university campus and they all saw Brahmini standing at the entrance of the parking lot. She wore a peach colored top with a pair of blue jeans. She let her hair loose and has a light make up on her face. The curls of her black hair were so pretty. Naveen looked at her but turned and went straight to the parking lot leaving both Shriya and Manvi with Brahmini when they got down. Manvi whispered in Brahmini’s ears who is standing beside her "So you guys made up right, What did you do yesterday?", Manvi was in her gossipy mood and she was entertained by the shy looks of Brahmini. Naveen reached there and all walked towards their block, Shriya and Manvi walked in front followed by Naveen and Brahmini. Soon they entered the building leaving Manvi at her block. Soon Sony joined them at the entrance of the block and Naveen went back to his car. Brahmini confirmed her relationship with Naveen to her friends and they are happy for her and cheered their friend to go on. At lunch as usual four girls sat at their usual spot with Naveen at the next table but Shriya and Manvi asked Naveen to join them. He didnot accept it as he thought he should not sit with them afterall Shriya is his boss madam. He is aware of Abhi’s feelings towards Shriya. He respected her not because she is his lady boss, but because of her attitude and her friendly nature. Shriya is a down to earth person and treats everyone with respect and hopes for the well being of others. Then Shriya asked Brahmini to accompany Naveen as he is sitting alone, though Brahmini felt shy, she still went to sit with her boyfriend. He felt thankful to Shriya for understanding him and his women.
