**  Episode-388** evelyn’s POV: Aaron smirked and said, “then you are the lucky one… it’s your bare feet…” Alexis got up, he pulled my hand and made me stand away from the table, He went to Aaron and grabbed his arm pulling  him in front of me. Brother Ernest looked at us digging into his food. Alexis Brother stood there and said, “Now shake hand and be friends….. now..” I glared at Brother Alexis, I heard Brother Ernest, “Old method?... good, but does it still works…” he smirked.. Alexis grabbed both my and Aaron’s ears and said, “Apologize and be friends…” Aaron stretched his hand and I shook my hand with his, Aaron said, “I am sorry….” I said, “Ok… you are forgiven…” Brother Alexis let our ear go, he said, “Aaron you are giving Evelyn a new exact pair of shoes…. and let’s continue the meal…I am starving…” We all took our seats, and just talked about the regular stuff. Alexis said, “I heard there was a problem in sea route…” Brother Ernest said, “It’s almost solved… there is nothing to worry…” Alexis nod. But Aaron said, “In Scott’s Corporation… there is a problem…” Everyone looked at Aaron. Aaron added, “So… as we know… there is this project coming up, we decided to create a theme park… we need a large amount of land…” Alexis said, “You can talk with Dad…. He was really into real estate when he was younger, I am sure he has a land… or he can arrange…” Aaron said, “Grandpa Scott has a land but there is a problem….” Brother Ernest stayed emotionless. Aaron added, “So apparently… Grandpa had a land but named it after Ruth… Scott…” Alexis asked, “I heard that name somewhere…..” I said, “Mom’s little sister, who passed away years ago…” Aaron said, “So…those paper where near her…. and the land is huge, like we can fit a amusement park as well a colony of 1000 people at least…. But after Aunt Ruth passed away, the paper went missing… and we can’t say we own the land, because it was neither registered at our name nor… we have proof that it belongs to a dead Aunt of us, who had no kids…. we can’t inherit the property like this… no matter how we twist the law, we need written proof that the land was owned by family member..…” I said, “No one found the papers… not even in her room after she was dead, bank lockers or anything…” Brother Ernest said, “Ruth Scott was drug addict, alcoholic and  mom’s younger sister, she  committed suicide because she wanted to marry Dad…” wtf!!! Alexis almost chocked, Aaron was looked at Ernest like he saw a ghost. Brother Ernest said, “I know about the land problem, Uncle Ken told me about mom’s childhood and Ruth Scott…. so, grandparents ever found Mom as a perfect child, they wanted a child to their status, who will be their trophy… But Mom… we know her, she is Kind heart… so she was forced to be perfect, I mean forced to be better at school and the stupid standards of society… even beaten I guess…. Then Ruth was born, the perfect child… Grandparents got a new toy to mold… Mom was ignored… and hated…. Ruth grew up spoiled, arrogant and all those stuff… he had multiple boy friend, as well as drug addict.. and she committed suicide in the end…. I think it was stunt to get Dad but she died accidently…. the Grandparents who love us, didn’t loved our Mom….” I looked at Brother Ernest speechless, Alexis avoided looking at us, Aaron was stunned as me. everyone stayed silent for long, nobody moved. As I remember, Brother Ernest didn’t went to visit Mom’s parents for like 2 years….. he always said he is busy, while we went there once or twice…. I asked, “Is this is why you don’t go to them anymore?” Brother Ernest looked at me and said, “I hate them…. I am afraid, I want to hurt them if I face them after knowing everything….. Mom hides everything, because she cares for us… so let’s say we don’t know…. but I can’t pretend in front of them..”
