Episode-405   A Week later,  Logan’s POV:  I gave a business smile and said, “Yes… that sounds nice, the collaboration seems interesting… I will let you hear from my secretary soon…” I am just having a  lunch meeting in this fine dining place restaurant .   The gentleman laughed in satisfaction, he said, “Well.. Mr. Knight… Let’s meet some other day and discuss the plans… we won’t disappoint you..”  It’s just an business meeting, I stayed there for few more minutes. But I ended it soon, I am calm and collected doing well by myself.. I do not need to worry about other things.     Raven said, “The car is ready..” I ordered, “Yea… wait at the gate, will come in few minutes.” I went to the restroom.   After few more minutes I found myself walking through the empty hallway, My head aches a little. I know why, I haven’t slept in two days because of work.  I think I should just rest for the day….. Maybe I will check if I have any important plans.   I heard a voice from behind, like a women cursed. It was not loud but faint. I was just busy by myself, but I heard her voice clear, “Sh*T!.. why am I this clumsy! Almost broke my nose..” I found this voice familiar, I turned to see Evelyn, her eyes were on the ground as she was still fixing her earring.  She had this green silk dress on, with some shinny long diamond earring. I stood there admiring her as she walked towards me, not looking up… she was busy to fix her earring… this is why this beauty is clumsy.  She bumped into me, another foul word slips from her lips. She looks at me hurriedly whispering, “Sorr-” her bag scattered on the floor.  But she never completed her words. She was stunned to see me here. So am I…. but seeing her after so many days made it relieving.    She ignored me and sat down gathering her stuff, She whispered, “what a bad day!”   My jaw Clenched. I know I should be helping her to take her stuff, but my ego stopped me. But.. I noticed something…  There is this shinny box, half open and a chain with a bolt locket. I couldn’t help myself, her finger were centimeters away from the box when I picked it, she had almost gathered most of the things.  She hissed, “Hey! give it back!”    I ignored her, and noticed the box was really pretty like a gift, and the chain is expensive, and the locket has diamonds with a male name… she is already dating someone else… My jaw Clenched!    I looked at the locket as my blood boiled, ‘Zander’ it said, the locket was stuck in this full length chain….. she must be really into him that she went to get such a special gift.  She snatched the locket from me and said angry, “DON’T… TOCUH IT!!” she took the box too, while my mouth went sour…. I hated it, I wanted to throw the locket out of this building right now. She said, “Manner-less…” She was trying to fit the chain in the box.   I mocked, “You are already over everything… and feasting on men… perfect”   Her moment frozen, I said, “Looks like you can never really love one person….”   She looks at me and whispered, “What.. What… you said?”  Her words tremble, I said stern, “You heard me, Princess…..”   She looks at me like she hates me…exactly, she hates me and already head over heel for someone else.  I want to see that bastard and punch him down.. whoever the f*ck is Zander!!!  I asked her stern, “Your new boyfriend name is Zander… congratulations… he must be gold digger..” She pointed finger on my face and said, “Don’t you dare!!!.... you are no one to speak about him!! you are not qualified Logan!!!!”    I got closer to her and asked, “Do you love him so much that you can’t take a word against him?.. damn! Zander must me lucky!” Her this craving for that man makes me sick.
