Swedum Spits Blood
It was a very hard slap.
Nyla felt dizzy and couldn’t see things clearly.
"You don’t deserve to stay at my place as my daughter. Get out of here!"
Seeing how furious Freddy was, Nyla finally realized how crafty Nydia was. Nyla hadn’t expected that Nydia could persuade her parents to be on her side, even though they had been a loving family for years, in such a short time.
"Dad, you mean, you want to break ties with me?"
"Yes!" Freddy replied firmly, "I have doted on you since you were a child. But you’re so reluctant when I need you to do something to save our company. Now Nydia offers to do that for you, but see what you have done to her!
"I’m very disappointed in you! Carla and I have brought you up and offered you the best. That was enough effort!"
This time, Freddy was determined. "Now you have two options. First, you immediately move back here and take the responsibility as the heiress to work in the company. Otherwise, you move out from here and you are no longer my daughter! You should never come back!"
"Dad, don’t do that to Nyla. It was just an accident. My fall has nothing to do with her!" Nydia hurriedly said, crying softly and sniffling cutely. Nydia looked adorable in tears.
Nyla glanced at Nydia out of the corner of her eye. Kiera was right. Nyla felt that she was no match for Nydia. Nyla had indeed underestimated Nydia.
"Nyla, I don’t want to do this either, but you leave me no choice!" Freddy did not want to drive his own daughter out of the house, but what Nyla had done was unacceptable.
Nyla saw Carla hugging Nydia and felt hurt.
"Well, you now have a new daughter, and I have become redundant. Okay, I’m leaving. Dad, Mom, this is the last time I call you this way. Take care."
Nyla was the kind of person who yielded to soft approaches but rejected force. She didn’t want to be constrained, nor to give in to anyone.
She walked towards the door step by step.
"Nyla!" Carla cried in pain. She knew Nyla very well. Nyla had such high self-esteem that she wouldn’t show her weakness to others. Freddy’s words only pushed her further away.
"I’ve raised you for so many years and you just left like that? You’re heartless!"
Nyla stopped and felt painfully sad.
"Nyla, don’t go. I’m the one who should leave. Without you, Mom and Dad will be heartbroken!" Nydia supported Carla and cried.
"Let her go, and don’t try to stop her! Nyla, I’m telling you, if you leave today, no matter what happens in the future, you can’t come back!" Freddy roared at Nyla.
"Don’t worry, Mr. Freddy. Even if I’m penniless and homeless, I won’t beg you for food and shelter." After saying that, Nyla walked out without looking back.
Carla fell onto the sofa. "You know what kind of person she is. Why did you say that? She will never come back, and you should be very clear about that."
Freddy sighed deeply, "Forget about her as if we have never given birth to her. She does not like us at all. We have brought her up and have done everything for her, but see what we got. Does she have any gratitude for us? I am tired."
After that, Freddy went upstairs.
He had been exhausted recently.
Freddy was occupied with his company and couldn’t spare any more effort for the matters at home.
It had almost reached his limit. The Lim family had been secretly helping him. But if he wanted any more help from them, Nydia had to be engaged to Bob.
Nyla left home angrily.
She suddenly stopped and looked back at the villa.
Only then did she realize that she had been tricked!
Nydia might have schemed it from the moment they met. Nydia deliberately talked in that way to stir up Nyla and her parents’ anger, which finally led to their breaking off.
Nydia was really something. She had foreseen Nyla and her parents’ reactions.
Nyla gritted her teeth, but it was useless even if she went back home now.
She had declared cutting ties with her parents. She was too proud to take her words back.
But it was not a bad thing. After all, she did not like struggles.
Nyla left.
She wanted to take a taxi but found that she had no money. The taxi drove away.
She walked aimlessly on the street. She suddenly felt that the world was so big, but she could go back to nowhere.
For the first time, she felt so lonely.
It was crowded on the street, but she was all alone. What’s worse, she didn’t have a home to go back to anymore.
Nyla squatted on the side of the road and kept her head down. Suddenly, someone stopped before her.
She looked up and saw Bob.
...
Villa Amio.
Swedum liked his little brother very much. As soon as he returned from kindergarten, he would immediately rush to Kody’s room.
Swedum gently touched Kody’s face and pinched his little hand.
"Kody, grow up, then I can play with you." Swedum gently touched Kody’s face.
Ceres sat next to the bed and looked at the two brothers. She suddenly found herself having a moment of blessed calm.
"Swedum, do you like Kody?"
"Of course I do," Swedum said as he placed his finger on Kody’s palm, "Mommy, when will he grow up?"
"When Kody grows up, he will grab your toys and maybe he will fight with you. Even so, do you like him?"
Swedum nodded immediately, "My toy is his as well. I won’t punch him back even if he hits me."
"You will spoil him." Ceres curled her lips.
"So what? He’s my little brother?" Swedum replied carelessly.
Ceres shook her head. It seemed that Swedum had a little brother complex.
"Swedum, go check what we’ll have for dinner. I’m hungry."
"Alright!" Swedum kissed Kody’s hand before reluctantly leaving. Soon, he ran back with a plate of pastries.
"Mommy, we have red bean rolls. Do you want some?"
"Give it to me."
Swedum obediently handed the plate to Ceres. Ceres took a bite of a red bean roll and felt it was very delicious. "Don’t you want some?"
"Yeah, I’ll give it a try." Swedum took a bite of the bean paste roll and chewed it.
"Isn’t it delicious?"
Suddenly, Swedum spat a mouthful of blood!
"Swedum, are you okay?" Ceres asked in shock.
Swedum opened his mouth and wanted to say something. Before he could do that, he spat another mouthful of blood.
"Help! Help!"
