**    Episode-423**   Evelyn’s POV:   I asked Logan, “You agreed?.... just like this?”   Logan looked away saying, “It’s nothing …. for us to be together I will do anything….” I laughed at him, I saw him looking at me as if I am nuts. I said to him smiling, “You will give everything you have to my father as a proof you love me… are you buying me?.... Do you think this will make him agree?... or me?”   Logan grabbed my shoulder, “Maybe this is the only chance…”   I said to him angry, “Logan…. You will explain this to me… but for now… someone else has to do an explanation…” he looks at me confused. I took the file pulling it off him, was resistant. I grabbed my bag as I walked out of there, I heard Logan calling me but King Edwin Arthur Gray is my next destination.     Soon I found myself in the parking lot, I am… I am confused, Dad would never do this, right?... I am just trying to insure myself about this. But I know I am wrong this time. But  there is one thing, no matter how angry Dad gets he will always adore me. I trust that I will get answers for Dad’s actions.  After pulling myself together, I walked in the building. I straight  went to the top floor. I walked in Dad’s cabin without thinking. I did knocked first as it was out of habit.   I saw Dad signing something as he said, “Cherry….. sit..”    I placed the file on the table and asked straight, “Dad… what is it?....” Dad just had a glance at the file, he sat back like nothing serious was going on, Dad picked the phone and asked someone to bring coffee.    I was amazed how unbothered Dad was, he said, “have a seat… those heel might be hurting….”     I still asked, “Dad… what is this file about? why would you do this?.... you are acting like this, when you need to explain.. I don’t understand…” I felt like blurring everything out.  Dad asked, “Explain?”   He said, “Why would I explain?.... since when Cherry asked her father for explanation?” He sounded cold.     I was holding my anger and frustration, I said out, “Because… you are forcing Logan!!!... He does not deserve that, he has a family…. why should you test him and trap him in schemes?... why can’t you be like other Dads?” I was screaming at one point.   Dad just looked at me silent, I found myself wiping my unseen tears. I said, “Dad… stop this, I am sick of being scared… sick of everyday worrying about him….”    Dad just said, “I am doing what I must….”    I was speechless, I knew he was not letting Logan easy. I took the papers out of the file and tore it down furious. Dad was observing me.    I said, “I will not let you do any harm to the person I LOVE…”     I decided to leave in anger, I heard Dad, “Is that the only Love you care for?.... There is a lot you will be losing… you are acting childish…”    I turned to Dad and said, “No… no…. I don’t know…. but I know one thing…. I don’t see my father anymore….” Dad looked stunned, but he got angry the next second. He asked, “then what I am?” This was like a warning.   I just said, “I only see the cruel King everyone talks about… and I can’t stand here anymore….” I rushed out of the cabin wiping my tears.   Logan’s POV:     I found her hours after she left, the same spot we usually use to meet. I saw her sitting in the car, she was wiping her tears. I sighed as I got out of my car, as if it was assurance that she will talk to me.    I went to her and knocked on the car window, she looks at me as her eyes as red, full of tears…. she does look angry. I wanted to ask her to open the door, but I impatiently opened the door myself. It was fail, the car door was locked, I saw her opening the door for me. thank god! she is letting me in.    I got in and sat beside her, she continued to look nowhere and cry silently. No sound came, but her tears never stopped. I want to comfort her…. and take her somewhere back home, it’s already night.     I just kept staring at her, after gathering some courage I whispered, “Evelyn…” she spared no reaction.   I placed my hand over her hand as I said, “I… I am sorry for not telling you. But I thought this is the only way, if that’s what it takes to impress the King … then I will do it….”   She whispered without looking at me, “He will never like you”    I was out of words, she said again, “He… he is just heartless…. He won’t even listen to his daughter… then how will you make it?” she sounded really depressed.    Did.. Did she went to the King herself?.... they fought?...  Did I just messed her and Kings father-daughter relation?  Now he will hate me more….. No…. I need to be in his good books to be close to Evelyn. I cannot lose her.     But most importantly, she  is suffering…..   I heard her, “We do not need anyone’s permission…. we will be together regardless he like it or not…” she sounded angry, and childish.    I won’t be reason for this father daughter to break apart. She will never be happy without her Dad in her life, I know her.   I said to Evelyn, “I think we need him being ok with us…. he is your father….”  She looked at me on this as she, “it would be better if he spoke like you…” I understood one thing, she is extremely angry, frustrated and salty right now.  I need her to cool down.    She turned to me as she said, “I am not going to be controlled anymore…. I love you and I know difference between wrong and right. I will fight anyone…..”  If I was really honest, I was really proud of this women. Her courage to fight her powerful father for me, made me even more in love with her. And there is no way I will let anyone steal  her from me…. she is perfect.
